Another way you can look at the Fev -

.. he's a repeat offender in fact he's so repeatedly offensive he keeps winning the Coleman medal.

Carlton have to let him go
$700,000 contract for each year over two years
Other clubs would not be able to afford him unless Carlton agreed to pay at least $200,000 a year.
Sydney would be about the ones who could afford him
Then where does this leave Carlton, nowhere really.
Chris Judd would be wishing he had of gone somewhere else, he seems to land himself into troubled clubs.
I would be totally amazed if he was let go.
with warnock coming back carlton could concievably develop kreuzer into a KP and play cloke forward with whomever they get for fevola there aswell.
the odds are unlikely but if it does turn to mud for fevola at carlton, WBD, and fantasia would be kicking themselves that they commited to hall.
hall is one thing (for the tired old dog that he is [and they can afford him]) but fev at the western oval would have all but assured them of some success.
who am i kidding .. as if WBD could afford fevola?
collingwood are the funniest. they could afford anyone if their kids were on less. tragic choke would have to be on $500k and for what - he's sh1t.

As if this is anything other than smoke and mirrors designed to make the Carlton board look like they have some scruples.

To quote The Band: Fev 'You ain't going nowhere'.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

fev could have dropped 10k on baccarat and still walked away with a profit brownlow night.
hard to see them trading him but again hard to see collingwood trading cloke and look where it will get them.
tragic choke is probably on closer to 6 now that i think about it and look what they get for their money - a guy who couldn't kick a beachball.

Fev won't go anywhere. Blues are gutless to do anything on this. This is an attempt by the board and the executive to make out like they have the nuts to make a decision.

Swann's "No d**khead" policy is being tested but will not win.

If one of our players can kick close to 100 goals every year - I think I can put up with them acting like buffoons once a year too.

In fact I'd join in the once a year buffoonery session.

Well Fev has been axed by Carlton so where to now for Fev? Yes he is a tool but he can play football, does St Kilda need him? Yes and no, he could be a worthy addition to our structure and could easily fall into the players commitment to each other and the club, he may surprise people by making a commitment to play and behave. A change of enviroment does work for a lot of people, Fevola could be a case for that or again he could be an exception to it also.

I like him as a footballer, some of his antics are harmless, others are over the top and have got him to where he is today.

Could he play for St Kilda next year? Next week we will find out.

There are lots of if's, buts and maybe's before Fevola lands at another club it could be us and I wouldn't be dissapointed if it was because for all his personal faults he has football ability that could be channelled into making him a better player and person at our club.

I am sure there is going to be lots of disagreements on Fev but it is the club that makes the final decision so we will wait and see.

I dont believe any clubs will trade for Brendan Ebola...

Carlscum will want to much.....
He earns too much....
He is a knob......

Not a bad Full Forward though providing things are going his way..a big petulant sook if he's struggling....

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Yeah I think it's all a stunt by Carlton and Fev will line up for them again next year.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Appear to be doing something but not actually doing it can sometimes do more than actually doing something.
