The critical factor are the group I like to call the "Facebook Raph-bashers" If you are a facebook user you'll know exactly what I mean
These fairweather fans are the difference between 30,000 and 40,000 members IMO
Michael Roberts could have saved his voice spruiking memberships at Etihad today..if you take the time to venture out in single digit temperatures to support the boys after losing a GF..well..you aint fairweather and its a given you are onboard

Anyone with half an idea knows that this issue is an AFL one, NOT a St Kilda one. Take your little tantrum about this down to the AFL this week as we will face the exact same issue next year when we make the finals. Instead of bitching about it, DO SOMETHING PROACTIVE!undecided wrote:Well I've spoken to many foundation SC members who have been members for 20+ years because they got standing room which btw sucked arse. Could see half of the tv that was there and that was it.
I would be amazed if any Foundation SC members would be silly enough not to renew their memberships. Especially considering there is now a waiting list for Social Club memberships.

When can we rejoin? my money is there and ready to be spent on 2010 membership and social club.
Btw I only managed to get standing ticket.
Close relative and very good friend with G Ablet offered to get sitting ticket for me, I politly declined choosing to stand with fellow Saints supporters, will do the same next year if the occasion arises again.

when you ask about 'benefits' do you mean 'what's in it for me?' IMO no-one should be saying they're a saint unless they're a member - this crap abt 'can't afford it' is a fallacy - I signed up a lass at my work to a Saints Sideline membership for $55 - included a scarf, member's card and admission to one home game- she was rapt! She so committed now she's taking out full membership in 2010!SaintMa50n wrote:sorry people, but do you think being a member is worth it? I mean what are the benifets?
Non members shld look at the heaps of options available to contribute to our mighty club - and when someone asks you 'who do you barrack for?' you can say proudly 'I'm a Saints member!!!'
Tramps like us.............

I'll renew again of course.
May try to get a better reserve seat.
But I have made up my mind that I will not be going for a GF ticket if we make it again.
I got one in 97 and 09....
WIth the amount of peeps who missed out this year, doesnt seem fair.
