To My SS Family
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all my SS friends.
It has been fantastic meeting you all and spending time with you.
While we are all shattered, it has somewhat helped to know you are all there with me and feeling the same.
Thanks will write more when I can

Yes the feeling is mutual, it is an honour to be part of such a great group, it does help to know that we all aspire to the same thing which is success to our beloved Saints, (and although it is a cliche) the window of opportunity is still open, and we shall come back next year better than ever.
In Ross we trust.

I found this place just a little intimidating when I first joined just under a year ago (has it really only been that long?).
Now it is a big part of my life. There are people on here who I fee like I know, and I truly care about every one of them.
I feel like I "belong" here now, and i know i am privelleged to be part of such a wonderful and diverse group of people.
Thank you all!

The finals series has been great for me. I finally got to put faces to names and hopefully have made some life long friends with some of you that have more than just the Mighty Saints in common.
The last few days have been particularly fantastic.
Special mentions to Snoops, Matrix, Solar, Vietnam, Pwoit, Saint66au, Nattens, Dools, Eastern, Joffaboy, MarkInUSA and anyone else I managed to catch up with a share in an ale or ten.
While I was blubbering at Eithad today it was great to know that by my side were fellow SS's.

I used to think I was alone in being this obsessed by the Saints.
Used to cover it up to the outside world as I thought it was just me.
Then with the wonders of the internet I discovered this site and realised that there are hundreds of others similarly affected.
Good to share the highs and the lows with others of similar passions.
Don't know how I would have survived the last week or two without this site.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Thank god for the internet. It has been great meeting so many people from this site & being on the journey which sadly is going to take longer than expected. After 97 I had no one to share my pain with other than my father, but this weekend it was wonderful to be with fellow Saints tragics & know that I wasn't the only one that felt gutted. You guys are the best. You know who you are.

Hi
This is my first post after the game. I've not been able to express how I feel. Still can't really.
I just wanted to say that it was indeed lovely meeting you all.
You all have a very special place in my heart, and I wish you all the best.
Take care. Look after yourselves even when you are feeling down.

Ditto from me guys, it was great to put faces to the names, great to meet up and know that the support for our club is strong, dedicated, loyal and passionate.
Think the idea for a meet up at the Corner is a great idea, perhaps as a bit of Christmas get together late November early December.
Look forward to reading everyone's opinions (even the ones I don't agree with) over the next few months.
As bad as the lose hurts, I am genuinely excited over the future, do believe there is a steely resolve at the club that only a premiership will do for this player group.

This could co-incide with one of the "Forum Footy Games". The idiots could run around in the sun while the rest of us enjoy a coldie or 2 !!saint66au wrote:Thanks Maxstar...been great to hang out with you and so many others over the last few weeks
