N.Winmar sightings
Curious to know if anyone came across the great man today?
Would have loved to have shook his hand... just once.
I hope he's being well looked after by his hosts.

that's a really sweet gesture, jk23.
i felt obliged to help console a fellow fan on the way home. guy in his early 20's was weeping incontrolably. i had to give the guy a hug and tell him that we're saints fans and we overcome anything because we're immune to disappointment. it seemed to have cheered him up a little.

Was lucky to catch him as he arrived on to the platform at Balaclava on the way in. He was happy and willing to chat . Said he was confident that we would do it . Hate to have met him afterwards.
He Looked fit and impeccably dressed. Said he made it it "compliments of the Club. Never stoped smiling and acknowledged the waves and handshakes of the faithfull...........

That is so excellent that his ticket was with the rest of general public/real people.
like he told neil mitchell in that interview last week - he just wants to be known as one of the boys, not nicky winmar the legendary footballer.
can't get any more down to earth than that.
