Did you see how they looked at the cup....

Post: # 832303Post SainterK »

After fuming that we didn't see the boys come on stage, the song, and the crowd reception....I wasn't annoyed enough to notice how the boys looked at the cup.

Lenny especially had such a look on his face, I can't describe it, but he believes!

I wish I'd seen it, but there were too many selfish pr1cks with umbrellas that blocked my view.

The look on Lenny's face was just in awe, just how much he really wants it and Reiwoldt was a real stern, maybe steely look, he looked like he was about to take it there and then

You can see the fire burning in their eyes. Roo and Kosi too.

They will not grow old, as those from more northern States grow old.
For them it will always be three-quarter-time, with the scores level
and the wind advantage in the final term.

The one thing I noticed is that they all stood together as a group, and were smiling and looking relaxed as they waved to people in the crowd.

Meanwhile over on the other side, they all stood alongside in one line, can't say they were really talking to each other and Harley had a smug look on his face I just want to wipe off.

Very similar to the photo on fron page of today's HUN. Harley draped all over the cup with one arm taking up 90% of the cup with a smug look on his face and Rooey just sitting there with a big smile on his face. And to me that seems to reflect he is in a good place re this match.

Carn the Saints.

Not that it's really that important or interesting or relevant, but what was the talk of the Cats turning up late?

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

The bus was stuck in traffic due to roadworks on the Westgate Bridge that Mark Thompson reckons they didn't anticipate.

Since when do you now not anticipate roadworks or accidents on the Westgate especially when it is raining?

According to Channel 7, our lads sat inside the Arts Centre waiting for Geelong to turn up.

Nick holding the cup was one of the best things i've ever seen.
I tried to imagine Tom Harley was Ross Lyon.
:)

Looking forward to 2010 - I'm gonna Lovett!
