If you don't think Edy is good enough to play, why have him as an emergency?

Forwarded to the mods.

My point is that if you don't consider him a possibility, there's no pint having him as an emergency. The 3 named are different players and there may still be a ltae change.

Enjoy the game, and let's hope we win.
:D

happy to trust the selection committee but max should have been made an emergency in stead of gwilt, and whilst i think there is huge upside for rob eddy the writing was on the wall three games back, which was when the club should have stuck with dempster!

Go For It Demps

Post: # 831433Post Megamaguire »

If Demps gets within range G O F O R G O A L !!!

He is a very capable kick and i'd love to see him kick away and put his premiership experience to good use.

If Seanie D. can mark inside 50 then just kick for G O A L !

G O D E M P S !

G O S A I N T S !

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.

Much happier with Dempster in. Better player than Eddy, and is more versatile.

Eddy tried his best, and will improve next year.

Ross has always said sentiment will play no part in it.

Dempster a good selection, why tell Eddy anything while hes out there to try to prove himself, which he hasnt, and so not enough to hold his spot.

It looks like Max was never going to play and i guess thats the sentiment part so why put him on the emergency list as a parting gesture of hey thanks buddy?

They picked the team they thinks going to win us a flag i will go with that.

Dempster to go to Chapman and Johnson, rotating with Gilbert.

he is the better option as is much more versatile player and will be dangerous when he goes forward.

Eddy very lucky to get two finals. Hasn't done enough to be in the 25.
Dempster a good replacement but Geary, Gwilt and Armo all stiff to miss.

I have the utmost respect for Max but this is a GF FFS.

Max has played in too many games in which he has broken down with a hammy.

Sorry, no room sentiment must have a fit 22 out there.

I want this.....I this bad.

C'mon Saints just win the F***!n thing.

Not sure about that. We have named 6 defenders without Dempster. Dempster's replacing a small pressure forward, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him start up front. Either that or in the middle. If Goddard plays back it'll be dropping back as a loose man.

Baker/Byrnes - Dawson/Hawkins - Gilbert/Johnson
Blake/Chapman - S. Fisher/Mooney - R. Clarke/Varcoe

I probably don't have the right matchups (I never do), but I think it will be something like that.

Yeah nah pleasing positive
