Hi..can I suggest you alter the Title to be Sitting and Standing...and include all those standing?
And indeed it is probably more useful to those Standing as they can then choose to stand together if they wish.
This could be perhaps very useful to those with Children for that way if there is a clump of SSers they can position their kids at the front.
Being larger "groups" this may may also alow for better "minding" of positions etc...including for those attending alone.

Do St Kilda Scoial Club ticket getters all get seated together-ish? That is, is there a kind of defacto segregation between Saints and Cats fans?

I believe tthere are 2 Cats, 2 Saints, 2 Cats, 2 Saints and so on around the ground and 5 bays at each end dedicated to a team!
So you will be sitting in a majority Saints Bay with a Cats bay next to you
