Yes you can.plugger66 wrote:Anyone know if you can pick up the tickets at the ground on Saturday. I know you could last year with Ticketmaster.
Grand Final tickets will be available for collection from 12:00pm Monday 21st September from all Ticketek outlets. Alternatively, the Ticketek box office at the MCG (Gate 3) will also be available on Grand Final Day for ticket collections from 8am. Tickets must be collected by the credit card holder who has paid for the tickets and who will be required to sign before collection. You will also be required to present the credit card used for the booking and ID must be presented.

I felt like Charlie Bucket winning a golden ticket to go Mr Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Or even Peter Griffin in that Family Guy parody of it. Good thing I didn't get a nasty knock to the shinsmatrixcutter wrote:just picked mine up in SA

Give me your driver's licence and credit card and I'll do it no problem.plugger66 wrote:Did you get mine?Mr Magic wrote:Anybody in the southern suburbs can collect tickets from Hampton Newsagency (in Hampton Village shopping strip). I was just there and didn't have to wait at all to pick up mine.
You can then call me in South America!

Seriously though Hampton N/A was the quickest/easiest ticket pickup I've ever had.
Sounds good to me.Mr Magic wrote:That's at least on the way to the G where I can 'scalp' your tickets!!!plugger66 wrote:You will be lucky to get to South Melbourne.Mr Magic wrote:Give me your driver's licence and credit card and I'll do it no problem.plugger66 wrote:Did you get mine?Mr Magic wrote:Anybody in the southern suburbs can collect tickets from Hampton Newsagency (in Hampton Village shopping strip). Picked mine up this arvo from that Virgin music store at Southern Cross
I was the only person in the entire store, let alone at the Ticketek counter, yet the assistant tore thru the process like he had a train to catch.
Glanced at my ID, printed out my tix, slammed them into an envelope with a mumbled announcement of what they were, sealed it..and managed to completetly ignore my request to "Please be gentle with my credit card its got a crack in it" by snapping it in half
I pointedly took 2 steps to my right, opened the envelope and checked the tix carefully. Hells bells they are GF tix, not a pub gig in Brunswick

Fantastic, sounds a lot easier, do you have to wait until 9am or so when they (ticketek) open, or can they access it any time the newsagency is open?Mr Magic wrote:Anybody in the southern suburbs can collect tickets from Hampton Newsagency (in Hampton Village shopping strip).
