My first as well. Was too young in '97 (7) and I didn't have a membership yet as the olds had just started taking me to the odd game a year or so before. Have been a member since 1998 though and an SC member for the last few years.

Going up with mates about 8 am and starting with breakfast in the city...

This will be my 40th.
Enjoyed 37 of them.
Hated 2 of them.
But hoping this one is the one I have building up for.


The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules. 
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Will wonders never cease! The AFL and Ticketek combine to provide me with a Grand Final Ticket within 20 minutes of opening! That has made all the years of being a AFL Club Support member worthwhile. And for the first time ever I've secured a ticket, centre wing 11 rows from the front, rather that being stuck in Level Q, up in the clouds. Go you mighty saints!

Yep been there before for the Sydney WCE GF. It is agreat postion but to anyone going to the GF any position is a great position at the G on GF day especially if we win.

Yes as a fullmember [st.Kilda club support] was able to book a seat this morning and checked out the postion on the MCG seating plan...nice and close to the hadyn bunton bar which will be very handy :twisted:

First Grand Final for me as well. Have had the option to go on a previous occasion but I am usually sulking at that time because we are not in it the big one. Prefer to watch it at home on the TV.

Not this year! I don't care where I am sitting as long as I am at the ground supporting the team! God help any St Kilda supporter around me next week that doesn't make some noise!!!!!

I'm going to my first Grand Final as well..

I went to Ticketek this morning and bought my AFL members ticket..

section M18 (on the wing)...front row.....only $110.00...

It's worked out better than the Social Club ticket system....

Go Saints......


How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ? :lol:

I'll be in the Hayden bunton bar or is it Ron barassi bar a couple hours before the game. I'd drink with anyone on GF day with the saints in it. happy to have a beer with you or any other Saints AFL members before the game. never take stuff written on here personally anyway.
