yes forgot mmc too i know that they can have their ticket in to the GF nearly forgot thanks for reminding me , do they have to be a member for a certain amount of time before it is a guaranteed seat ? i know that last year the ones that slept the night did not have a guaranteed seat and there were so many passes given out .

Yes..Restricted ( approx first 10 years of membership) and Full (after that)

The only difference (apart from the cost) is the GF and you cant vote at the AGM

i know there is a waiting list then you are a restricted member and i know in the old stand before it was pulled down the nice leather seats if you were a member for 60 yrs you had the right to site there over anyone else they could site there if the 60 plus yr members were not there not sure if those seats are still there my guess is yes.

well done would have been mad if they did not make it !
i am happy they did cause they were on top all year so deserve it .
you enjoy it 100 % lap it up soak in the atmosphere get there as early as you can believe me it is awesome as !
walk around the outside at 8am just amazing words just don't describe it ! .

guys some one after the GF win or lose have a thread just for putting in your experiences on the day for those that went and stories of those that can not make it , where did you watch it how did you feel sort of thing include the festivities the next day did you go to the dome and experience that etc etc etc !
that sort of stuff is history making they write books about it ! believe me they do they just finished re doing a hawk history book that included last years gf and the other books are in it to just revised and updated and what not !

i can not wait to read all i am excited as you lot are i want to see a gf medal around zac's neck i want you guys to thrash the cats!

As soon as St.Kilda beat the doggies I bought mine direct from the afl website in a package...got the prime seating. Costs but it is worth it. Tickets are still available I believe, check the AFL website...

http://www.aflfinalstraveloffice.com.au/

Also got a flight from Perth to Melb, land Sat morning...flyout Sunday in the arvo so I will go to Ethiad on Sunday for celebrations.

Staying in a cheap hotel on Spencer Street.

Hope that helps but be prepared to pay!

EDIT: The direct link to purchasing a GF ticket is here

http://www.aflfinalstraveloffice.com.au ... ticket.htm

...as I said it's costly but if you guys really want to go, like me, you will find the cash :D

Hi everyone

I'm a pies fan who bought a package I now no longer need. I think scalpers are scum of the earth and so in no way want to profit - simply cover costs. It cost me 1250 so if someone will pay this its theirs, or else I'll take all nearest offer bids.

I'm at work so difficult to check pms, pls email me at beanpolelenny@Internode.on.net

Hi all,

I have a heartfelt request.

Me and my entire family are social club members (and have been for upwards of 10 years). I've just been informed that we've been allocated standing room tickets for the GF. While i understand that it's a luck-of-the-draw ballot, we're now in a situation where my mum (who is 60+ years old and NOT tall) will need to be standing up at the MCG from around 10am until 5pm. This isn't cool.

While there are 7 of us in the booking who've been shafted, i'm desperately seeking 2 people who are willing to swap 2 reserved seats for 2 standing room tickets and the respect and admiration of a true saint.

If you can help, please feel free to PM me.

Cheers,

Ben (from Saints Radio)

I believe.

Hey guys, you can take my name off the list. I went with a package, can't be arsed stuffing around...just want to see my sainters get over the line!

For those looking at a package, the bulldogs look the cheapest for $990.
Good luck to all.

Ben, that truly sux.

Did any September Saints get seats? Surely not, but maybe you could ask on here if they have, and if they are willing to swap for a long time SC member.

Go SAINTS!
