Personlly I thought the free was fair enough. It was uneccessary and undisciplined contact. maybe Roo did exagerate a bit bit the free was there.
I think maybe the umps were making a statement re players not loosing their cool and concetrating on the ball.
Good to see we were disciplined enough not to fall into thier trap.
The best and most disciplined team won on the night.

IF It is to be it is up to me.
Funny thing is that if it was a Saints player who gave that free away and we complained on a thread here - P66 would have told us that
a) the umpires were correct
b) the clubs had been told
c) the Saints player had done it three times in the game and had been warned
d) the Saint player is stupid
e) everyone on here is biased and doesn't know anything.
P66 has no opinion - just alternate views to try to upset posters.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Haven't read the thread, but my two cents worth will confirm Roo was targeted off-ball the entire night! Obviously the Saints coaching staff notified the umpires and they acted accordingly in the 3rd quarter! You know....that free kick everyone was whinging about! - PAYBACK!!!
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!
Are you bi polar. sometimes in a good mood other times after a great win in a bad mood. i have never said the free was wrong. just dont like that those frees are paid. If that free was paid why wasnt it reversed when kosi did the same thing to Lake.joffaboy wrote:Funny thing is that if it was a Saints player who gave that free away and we complained on a thread here - P66 would have told us that

and I repeat my angst was his slurr on the whole team,
not the free
on further thought it is that Bakes must really occupy his mind when he thinks of the Saints-
but hard to be a scragger when ( and it takes one to know one)
a: your higher than them
b;
your in front with your hands on the ball
and Riewoldt may fall over alot but he's running so far and been whacked so much he's physically spent.
wasn't the first free given for that in the game
8 min mark first quarter- Kosi got one similiar - elbow in shepharding . missed the goal though and much closer.

Well if you don't like it, then it must be ridiculous....plugger66 wrote:Because he is stupid obviously. Hey brat, don't worry about aker. I noticed he was in pretty good spirits; I wonder if Brad Johnson is so cheery?saintbrat wrote:and I repeat my angst was his slurr on the whole team,

Also interesting to hear so many dogs fans complain about how crap he was. They expected much more from the big hero. Maybe next year.

Besides, it's not really a slur against St Kilda that some Doggies had to go the man off the ball, it's an admission of failure.Bernard Shakey wrote:What slur? Roo did go down pretty easily and pretty often.saintbrat wrote:It's not about the free- it's about the slurr he made against the whole saints team.
Roo does have a stuffed knee, makes it all the easier one would have thought....wow, plugger66 and BS are sounding more similar every day.Bernard Shakey wrote:What slur? According to Roo and Ross there is nothing wrong structurally wrong with Roo's knee.SainterK wrote:Roo does have a stuffed knee, makes it all the easier one would have thought....wow, plugger66 and BS are sounding more similar every day.Bernard Shakey wrote:What slur? SainterK or whatever you choose to call yourself, I call it as I see it and we will be premiers this year, if your mate Kosi can pull his finger out.
Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell
Oh they said that, well it must be the case then...is limping Roo's security blanket then?Bernard Shakey wrote:According to Roo and Ross there is nothing wrong structurally wrong with Roo's knee.SainterK wrote:Roo does have a stuffed knee, makes it all the easier one would have thought....wow, plugger66 and BS are sounding more similar every day.Bernard Shakey wrote:What slur? Lake had been taking Roo out all night...at least 5 times prior[with no free kicks] and the umpires correctly warned them...the free kick was there..was a directive on this pre finals.
Suck shyte bullies...what about the frees that we missed out on[quite a few] and the mark that Kosi took within range that was ruled as having touched the ground..the replay showed it was a clear mark.
The bulldogs were brave but don't blame the umpires...
And for you to support this slur on our magnificant captain...
you are a deadset worry...

Last night Kosi was ordinary along with half a dozen others. If he plays to his abilities next week, we are premiers. End of argument.

Some people obviously have very bad tempers. Have I ever said the free was wrong. never not once. A ridiculous rule. i have had a go at Rooy. Not once. never would. Did i ever blame the umpires. no not once. i do wonder about posters who just swear at people without reading the who thread. Do you want a number to get your anger management checked out.saint patrick wrote:Fu##ing piss off you apoligist pluggerplugger66 wrote:They lost by 7 points and the free was ridiculous.
