The day after the night before
Great to wake up a bit seedy but with a win.
I look forward to watching the replay but initial thoughts for comment:
* Roo is on the verge of finally being recognised as the most influential player int he game. 1 more big game next week and he is elevated to Super star.
* Hayes refused to lose. reminded me of Banger in Adelaide 2005
* A number of players got stage fright which concerning - Mcq, Raph, Eddy, Ray all run down must realise half the normal time available in finals.
* Schnieder and Milne must do more when they are out of the contest.
* Raph Fish and Gilbert drive off half back soo important. Gram must stop butchering the ball
* CJ is in out top 10 and should finish top 5 in B&F
* Bakes is getting back to Bakes of old, Leon , now Aker.
* Dal, Goddard and Monty if all 3 play well next week we will win as we have only had 2 so far.
* Kosi is a much more complete footballer, his 2nd efforts and tackles on smaller quicker opponents were inspiring.
This reminded me of the 1991 elimination final as a great game of football that neither team deserved to lose. They say Prelims are harder in some ways to win, hopefully correct

Woke up seedy but pumped
Went down to Linton Street and bought a new game jumper, i only buy one if we make the Granny and if we lose i never wear that jumper again hence the 97 is still hanging on my wall, only worn one day. Got some new stickers for my car.
Just back home and have sworn off drinking until next Saturday lol

Bakes will do that to you. .... You gotta feel sorry for whoever he plays on next week..... No, you don'tsaintly wrote: yes it was Bakes on Acker,. the only acknowledgement by the commentators was them saying that Acker had his worst match of the year.
