A New Saint!
Just thought I'd share some good news going into tonight's big game!
Earlier in the week the Saints had a new addition to the ranks when my daughter was born safe and sound! Both mum and bubs are healthy....and the daughter is already a member!
Now I just have to find a place other than home to watch the big game!!!!!

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
Then they're even better?Moccha wrote:Except when they become teenagersmullet wrote:Congratulations, what a big week for you. Daughters are great
There's a bloke down the Latrobe Valley who'd agree with that.
Personally I'd like to smear his testicles with honey and sit him naked on a bull-ants nest.
But to get back on track.... congratulations.
Never had the privilege of daughters myself, but since I've become a grandfather of girls, I realise what I've missed.
Look after her well.... its a mean and nasty world out there.

Congrats Buckets.
What date did your girl arrive?
My second Saintly daughter arrived at 12.35 last Saturday morning (the 12th). We've called her Peggy. She's a little ripper.
I'm already whispering 'Go Saints' in her little ears...
Congratulations.
And I agree - girls are great.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I was more thinking Ivory... but if its a boy, Whitey has to get a look in! bwahahahaGrumpyOne wrote:Blanche?SaintHomer wrote:congrats mate. we had a little sainter girl last year and named her ebony. the next one (if a girl) will be ruby and no prizes in guessing the third's name!
Snow?
Whitey?
It is true our first is Ebony though... (and she's a saints member). Batnoe, Bardonsaint and Reincarnated can verify!
Didn't notice you lived up north..... Whitey might not be a popular option up there.SaintHomer wrote:I was more thinking Ivory... but if its a boy, Whitey has to get a look in! bwahahahaGrumpyOne wrote:Blanche?SaintHomer wrote:congrats mate. we had a little sainter girl last year and named her ebony. the next one (if a girl) will be ruby and no prizes in guessing the third's name!
