I'm starting to feel incredibly nervous about tomorrow night, like many of the posters on this site. The rational side of me tells me that we're the real deal, and that we'll account for the bulldogs by 4-5 goals. But the other side is trying to tell me to fear the worst, given our previous stumbles at this stage in recent times. There's no doubt that these feelings are gonna continue and intensify up to the opening bounce, and it will be a challenge to maintain. I'm just hoping that the boys can just provide me with some reassurance once the game gets underway, and so erase these pessimistic thoughts which are trying to creep into my mind.

In saying all this, I'm also absolutely pumped about tomorrow night, and it cant come soon enough. GO SAINTS!

I have been feeling sick all week...never felt like this previously except during a game.Probably means that this game is the most important of 43 years of hoping

Midas, I read in the paper today that there will be no extra trains coming from the western suburbs for the game tomorrow night, so give yourself plenty of time to get there or you really will be nervous!

I have been lucky! Normally I am an absolute wreck by now but with my baby being born on Tuesday I have been so totally occupied. That is until late last night when it hit me!

congrats mate on the new arrival (does put things in perspective). we had a baby last season!

but having said that, this waiting is killing me. i keep trying to do work, but find myself frequenting afl.com, heraldsun.com, theage.com and of course here (which is all making me even more nervous).

we deserve to be favourites, we deserve to win this... but that counts for nothing. i'll feel much better when we kick the first goal of the game.

A nervous week, not the least of which is because I had to book a plane ticket home 3 weeks ago for GF week. Then last night i had a peaceful sleep because i simply thought:

1. The best side will win
2. We are the best side

It sounds funny saying it to other saints supporters, but lets keep the faith!!

As I sit at work (where ive been since 6:30 am) I cant help but feel very excited and nervous.

I have Saints socks and polo shirt on and im surrounded by posters and other assorted Saints stuff which isnt helping my nerves!

This has to be our year, ill be screaming with teh best of them at the G tonight, but right now I cant help but watch the clock........will 2:30 (then 7:45) never come
