well i just rang
last week on registration day at around 2 hrs before cut off they said around 90% had registered out of the 11500.
i rang just then and asked for the actual number and was told they dont know and are not told the official number of how many of the 11500 SC members did actually register.
so now we cant work out how many did register, how many tickets are left over to then wok out if the 15% standing is going to spill over to the second chancers and Sept Sainters.
youd think the club would be told how many of their SC members registered

That's true but I'm not sure that the 1000 tickets the club has for discretionary allocation (12,500 minus 11,500) would contain any standing room if the club has control over this. Can't see it somehow.terry smith rules wrote:
so if we have 15% standing room out of the 12500 allocated to stkidla then that is around 1875 standing room
So the 1875 might actually come out of the 11,500, which amounts to 16.3%

1000 allocation is all seating I believe, plus the 15% refers just to the 11500.Superboot wrote:That's true but I'm not sure that the 1000 tickets the club has for discretionary allocation (12,500 minus 11,500) would contain any standing room if the club has control over this. It doesn't seem the 1000 tickets will be going to any members at all unless they want to pay $1300.

Well as long as it's 15% of 11,500 and not 15% of 12,500, I guess it could have been worse.ausfatcat wrote:1000 allocation is all seating I believe, plus the 15% refers just to the 11500.Superboot wrote:That's true but I'm not sure that the 1000 tickets the club has for discretionary allocation (12,500 minus 11,500) would contain any standing room if the club has control over this. But according to ausfatcat, as I read it, there are 1000 seats and then 85% of 11,500.matrixcutter wrote:it cant be
those thousand tickets include those 1300$ packages and im not sure family and friends would be offered standing room tickets either
the standing has to be included in the 11500 surely
That means 1725 standing room all up, not 1875
So let me get this straight.
We have 11,500 SC members which 90% have registered for GF tickets
this equals 10,350 registrations.
We have 12,500 allocated tickets of which there are 1,000 standing room tickets
this leaves 11,500 seated tickets
If the 1,000 $1300 packages take seats
this leaves 10,500 seated tickets for SC members.
considering only 10,350 (90% of 11,500 SC members) have registered, this means
1) All 10,350 SC registered members get seated tickets
2) 1000 $1300 package holders get seated tickets
leaving
1) 150 seated tickets for September Saints
2) 1000 Standing room for Sept Saints etc.
All assuming, of course the SC 90% registration is the correct figure.

we all seem to be on the same track
bottom line is we are at about 6/1 to not get our bottom on a seat
of course those odds inprove dramatically with the more september saints there are, because you could not see them getting seats (sorry people)
break it down further if there are say 500 sept saints and they are all standing room then that leaves 1350 out of 11000 for s/c (odds go out to about 12/1)

1725 standing room tickets.Kate wrote:If 15% are standing room then there are 1875 standing room tickets and some SC members will be offered standing room.
9775 seated tickets
Approx SC members registered: 10350
therefore At least 575 SC members will be standing.
and 1200 standing tickets for the Sept Saints
No 11500, the other 1000 is for players, employees, family and packages and are all seated, this is not included in the social club tickets.joffaboy wrote: We have 12,500 allocated tickets of which there are 1,000 standing room tickets
People stop getting the 1000, tickets mixed up with competing club members allocation, it's seperate and people are getting the figures all mucked up based around the 1000 ticket allocation forget about it, They aren't open to members unless they want to pay $1300.
It's seperate
Saying that thou there maybe additional tickets available to club members on tuesday or wednesday next week based on how well sales of packages and corprate seats go (anywhere from (0 to 1000 extra per competing club).

If 90% of social club members registered (out of 11500), and 85% of the allocated tickets (12500/11500) are seated tickets then approx 5% of social club members i.e. around 5-600 people will be offered standing room tickets.
It is for the proportion of these 600, (noble 600!) there are likely to be some who ticked NOT standing as a preference - it is for these people that this information applies......

I think we covered this last week in this thread;
http://www.saintsational.com/forum/view ... c&start=75
The key issue was the response from Ben Hall of the club (in writing);
"The AFL does not tell me exactly our allocation. However, they have advised me that they believe almost all Social Club members will get a seat. It also depends on how many register. We have had about 75% register so far. Yes seats will be given to Social Club members first."
The last point is the key....

Joffa, I don't think this bit is correct.joffaboy wrote:

From what others have been saying, the standing room is equal to 15% of 11,500 i.e. 1725
Seated tickets equals 10,775, but members only have access to 9,775 of them
9775 seated ticketsausfatcat wrote:1725 standing room tickets.Kate wrote:If 15% are standing room then there are 1875 standing room tickets and some SC members will be offered standing room.

if this is the case and 90% SC regos is correct, 575 SC members will be offered standing room.
This means you have a 5.555555% chance of getting a standing room ticket, or a 1 in 18 chance.
Haven't looked at the ratio yet
