1- I don't pot saints.Shaggy wrote:This is the truest post you have ever made.Milton66 wrote:So why keep adding to it?
Like I posted earlier...
This argument is like Big Brother. We know it's cr@p but we keep tuning in, hoping to catch a glimpse of a nipple.
What you dont understand is that some find it offensive to pot saints and ex saints.
Who needs opposition supporters when you, Sr and Joffaboy are right out there potting our own.
Good on you.
2- I wasn't potting GT, I was questioning the validity of his comment.
Please read SENsational's post above. We have right to openly discuss all Saints past and present.
Never once did I put abuse on GT in this thread.

I'm a bit puzzled by this.joffaboy wrote: Why did RodgerFox slink off when shown to be fabricating quotes by SrR?
I quoted directly from a SrR post. He lied. He clearly stated that I stated something that I didn't state all.
Why would I need to 'return fire'. It's as plain as day that he lied.
I find it strange, and bit disappointing that blatant lying seems to be accepted by some on here.
Lying is lying. It's a terrible weakness of character, and a trait that despise.

So you despise GT for lying about his appointment process?rodgerfox wrote:I'm a bit puzzled by this.joffaboy wrote: Why did RodgerFox slink off when shown to be fabricating quotes by SrR?

Personally, it is just people letting off nervous steam at an important part of the journey.
It's all relatively harmless fun......and to be honest, I thought the same as you to begin with.
Now I see it for a boisterous discussion that apart from one poster, has remained relatively pleasant.
People are showing their love of the Saints, just from different points of view.
That can't be a bad thing. Passion is what makes us tick.
Bring on tomorrow night.

Same for Lyon.
Same for players when they say they're Ok but don't play.
Same for everyone who can look someone in the eye, or down the lens of a camera and lie.

Obviously RF has never told a lie, otherwise he would hate himself.
Oh RF, SrR stated categorically that you puncuated the quote of his, thereby changing it.
Are you willing for SrR to reprint the whole quote and show everyone here that you mislead with the changed quote?
SrR are you willing to reprint the whole post (without editing - remember we can all go back and see if you have editied the original post) to see if what RF says is true or not?
Over to you SrR.
Rf claims to hate liars and lies. Lets see if the quote was changed or not by RF and see who is lying.
Are you up for it SrR???
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

I didn't change a single character. He's a liar, and has been for some time.SaintsrRising wrote: No Morphing Rodge.....or at least about what was said.
What has morphed is what you are stating that ALL posters wrote about GT going at the time that supported the sacking.
While one or two posters may have stated that all we needed was new coach...it does not alter that posters such as myself and OWTS made detailed posts to full range of deficicinies at the time.
The new coach was just one of a number of issues that needed to be rectified in changing from the outmoded GT Football Department to a New Modern Football Department.
One amongst them was that what had been a great list was being degraded...and many flaws had developed under GT with the trend being further decline.
Recruiting..player development...rookies...player conditioning...match day tactics....list management and other aspects were all detailed at the time as reason why GT & his outmoded Dictatorship ofa Football Department had to go.
Time has proven this asa wise move...and if the Saints had not changed we would be way behind where we are now.
Under the new football deapartment there is not one facet that has not improved, except for say the drafting of kids which is about the same:
* Match day coaching
* Player managenent (no more 5 year contracts biting us on the bum...or going over on the salary cap so that we have to play witha list short of the maximum
* From dud trades to being the best traders in the AFL
* From bad blood with our VFL Affilaite to smooth sailing where our players are now able to be played where the saints want them to be to develop them properly
* From not finding one rookie in the GT reign to now having several as core players in our best 22 (this euqals greater depth and more talent in your 22)
We have goone fromalist in decline...toa list now bursting with depth.
we have gone fromna team of downhill skiers good on the burst but with no stamina to deliver, toa four quarter disciplined team.
You wrongly try (as no doubt as a deliberate tactic) and make the posts of one or two as being the content of all who posted that GT going was the right call.
The long list of GT flaws were detailed back then...and have not changed.
It is about time you had the balls to actually write specifically which poster you are talking about.

ie that is not all posters...but as I wrote the group of posters that posted then and who supported the sacking.
Good to see that you are now admiting that from the posters that supported the sacking at the time and wrote about it at that time, that not ALL have changed what they wrote back then.
Or are you still maintaining that all posters from this group have morphed their views as you have indicated. Not one or two RF..but all from this group.
If so then you are wrong as my views have not "morphed" as you put it.
