That's Geoff Ogilvy's conundrum.

FOOTY fans have been known to do some crazy things to enable them to see their team play, especially in a grand final, but occasionally one has to draw the line somewhere.

Do you think I could buy a premiership for 9 million and keep 1 million for myself.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
If you are not engaging AI actively and aggressively, you are doing it wrong.
You are not going to lose your job to AI.
You are going lose your job to somebody who uses AI.
Your company is not going to go out of business because of AI.
Your company is going to go out of business because another company used AI.

If he makes $10M a year, and this is a chance to double that, then it's a totally different argument.
I'd be happy to pass on my yearly salary if it meant seeing the Saints win a flag. Heck, i'm probably gonna have to part with a fair chunk of it to get my hands on a ticket anyway!!!!
$10M for mere mortals like most of us here is a lot of cash. But for a guy who plays golf for a living, and makes a truckload doing it, can't be compared.

geoff ogilvy is almost 2000 points behind steve stricker and over 2000 points behind tiger woods
He isnt going to win the fedex cup and take home the 10 million prize for doing so, yeh he would be giving away a great cheque for the week, but should the saints get over the bulldogs id be on the first plane home. He doesnt need the cheque, the level he has played the last few years he is set for ever, playing the richest tour int he world guranteed for the next 5-10 years.
Being basically the same age as geoff, obviously a very rare thing to see the saints in a grand final should the make it. Id be straight home
I mark my titleist the same way as geoff, had to adapt that a few years ago when I seen that on his ball

Im not sure the PGA would really like you to miss their biggest tournament or his sponsors for that matter to watch a game of footy. Important for him and us but they couldnt give a stuff about it so he may lose more than just the prize money. I think there would be people who live in Melbourne that are working on the Saturday that will also choose work. Im sure he will stay all night to watch it.

I know what I'd be chosing. I'd gladly quit my job if they wanted me to work on Grand Final weekend, Saints or no Saints. With the Saints involved, they wouldn't have a chance in hell of me turning up.I think there would be people who live in Melbourne that are working on the Saturday that will also choose work.

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
yeah...that's when i thought our next one was coming after the win in 1966,,,,saintdooley wrote:sorry, i would take the money

I'd come home to watch the Saints in GF.
There is no guarantee he would win the $10 million as golf is just as fickle as AFL in terms of winning.
He's waited as long as any of us and to be back in Melbourne would be worth more than all the millions he could earn that weekend .
Some come home fellow Sainter-you won't regret it

I'd take the $10mill and be pretty sure it'd make me happy....no happier.
A Saints premiership would make me happy but not for as long as the $ would. Easy choice. Life changing for the whole family.
Now if I was Ogilvie with his $ in the bank and future earning capacity the possibility of seeing a Saints premiership would be worth more. A different choice but still an easy one to make.
Perspective .... different things to different people.
