Voting is a disgrace IMO...

After such a dominant year...4th greatest on record (??) to only have 3 AA in the starting 18 is utter rubbish.

When the Cats had all their AA's in the on year the argument was that it was due to them being the best team.

Well in 2009 the saints were head and shoulders above all other teams..including the Cats.

Couldn't agree more. This is unbelievable. Our defence had a remarkable result for the least amount of points scored against this year and not ONE Saint in the backline??

This is truly the biggest joke and injustice this year. :x

The best defence in the last 42 years.
The best defence ever if you consider the increase in scoring over time.

That and Adrian Anderson's team of football ignoramuses don't put even one of them on the ground.

There is a real All Australian defence that plays for St Kilda and over the next two weeks they will show the AA selectors to be from Alcoholics Anonymous.

Well done Joey and Lenny!

Don't worry BJ, you'll be on the bench. Gilbo deserves a spot on the bench too but I don't expect him to get on. Dal? maybe.
Na, I would know if he was from Kerang.

Fairly bizarre line up. But a lot of unlucky players from a number of clubs.

Glad Roo got the captaincy, he, Brown and Judd were the contenders you'd think.

On the whole though every member of the 22 is worthy of All Australian, just guys like LeCras and Mitch Clark had a greater claim then some in their IMO.

I guess these awards mean a lot to the players but let's hope we can just focus on what is most important.

I still think Harvey winning the 97 Brownlow was a distraction we could have done without.
Not saying he was an unworthy winner, just saying it may have set back our premiership quest a bit.
Would be quite happy if none of our boys comes close this year.

Hmmm, Davis not AA material. Neither Goodwin this year.

For mine, LeCras and Porps get in on the forward line, Swan drops to the bench and Goddard starts on the HB line.

Ross Lyon would refuse to coach this bunch of players.
Half the team only play for themselves.
Or in the case of one Carlton player for a heap of money.

The half backs have forged a career from being a mixture of over-rated and never having anything resembling a quality opponent

Balwyn, then Northern Knights. Must have lived pretty close to the Eastern Freeway in Greythorn otherwise he would have played for Oakliegh Chargers !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
