All Australian
How many players are we going to have in the All Australian team tonight?
Who and Where?
I reckon Sam Gilbert should get a spot in the team either in the backline or on the bench

We'll have 6, Goddard and Gilbo will be in the backline... From most people's mock teams Gilbo is the CHB
Dal Santo, Hayes and Montagna will all make the team however one or two of them will probably start on the bench, IMO Hayes on the bench and the other two on the wings.
Riewoldt will be the CHF and he MUST be the captain, if they give to Jonathan Brown or Chris Judd I will absolutely lose it!!
Milne was in the 40 to say well done for a great season, he was never going to make the team...

I didn't think Gilbo would get there, but the consensus among commentators seems to be that he's a certainty.
Riewoldt and Joey are certain to join him IMO. Dal is also an excellent chance, because he is well-liked across the footy world.
Lenny is almost a certainty as well, but there are always lots of midfield contenders to fit in and - unfairly IMO - I think a lot of so-called experts don't rate Lenny as an AA player, because of his sometimes unreliable disposal (although it's been great lately). I think it will either be Joey and Lenny or Joey and Dal: I don't think we'll get all three.
I'm not sure about BJ: personally, I found him a tad disappointing this season given my expectations (but, then, my expectations were very high). However, like Dal, his abilities are greatly appreciated by the footy world.
Milne = no chance.

You must have high expectations because apart from a handful of games of late he has been one of our best contributors and I would have argued at Rd 15 that he was a chance for our b&f.meher baba wrote:I'm not sure about BJ: personally, I found him a tad disappointing this season given my expectations (but, then, my expectations were very high). Goddard, Joey, Roo and Hayes certainties. Gilbo and Dal on the borderline. Gilbo mainly cause he hasn't built the rep yet. I think they may go with both Lake and Scarlett in the backline, and they drool over Maxwell for some reason. Throw in Goddard and it only leaves 2 spots in the backline. Hopefully Gilbert is rewarded for both personal reasons, and the teams defence.
Four to six certainties? You have to be kidding. I believe we will be lucky to have 3. For some reason, are players still are not rated. The MVP awards proved that.
For me it will be Nick, Joey and Dal. Lenny should an automatic selection, but just doesn't get the kudos he deserves. Never has.
