Schneider...
Of all our trades, I reckon he is the best.
I rate him highly. Has has very good skills, can thread a goal, and has a great footy brain.
He also has finals experience, and has played in a premiership team @ 21.
Is one of the top 10 most important players at our club.
Onve he develops his aerobic capacity, he has the potential to become an elite mid.
Love the Schneids.

Swans had salary cap issues IIRC.
Plus he was getting lazy...and Dempster was to Schneider as C. Gardiner was to King. Thrown in because he would have been delisted otherwise.
I actually believe Dempster is a very good and versatile player. And if it wasn't for him doing his knee last year he would have played every game and be having a crack at his 2nd premiership this year. He'll be back in the side next year.
But yes, Schneids is amazing at times. He really can turn games on their heads...as we all witnessed in 2005.
Here's hoping for a similar performance in 2009...

A lot of people thought that Schneider coming to St Kilda would be the end of Milney...Milton66 wrote:If I was left with one pick and had to decide between Schneids and Milne... I'd go Adam, hands down.
As much as I like Milne.
But he works better with another small forward in the side (ala Brent Guerra)
But yeah, I'd choose Schneids over Milney as well. Just a good thing we'll never have to think about doing that!

Schneider a good player, Milney a star. We easily forget how good Milney is.mick13 wrote:A lot of people thought that Schneider coming to St Kilda would be the end of Milney...Milton66 wrote:If I was left with one pick and had to decide between Schneids and Milne... I'd go Adam, hands down.

Regardless of Milne's career, I'd still take Schneids. He can play midfield, small fwd and brings more physical pressure than Milney IMO only.
Milne is yet to prove himself in finals... Scheider has.

milney is a star... best small forward in the comp.
Watch the first quarter against the Hawks. Schneider is as much a star as Milney is. I'd rate Schneids a better kick, tackler and marker of the ball. But Milney wins on epicness.plugger66 wrote:Schneider a good player, Milney a star. But theres really no reason to get into a debate about this though. Both can break games apart and they're clearly the best small forward duo in the league.
Trio, don't forget Minimick13 wrote:Watch the first quarter against the Hawks. Schneider is as much a star as Milney is. I'd rate Schneids a better kick, tackler and marker of the ball. True, I reckon Mini's a better kick and tackler than those two...ohwhenthesaints! wrote:Trio, don't forget Minimick13 wrote:Watch the first quarter against the Hawks. Imagine if he could get 25 touches a game instead of 15!
