gosainters, it goes like this for ticket chances for the 11,500 tickets
Social club members we think at least 10,500 registered
Then The september Saints which their are 1,100 members which you presume will use the remaning 1,000 or so tickets
In the unlikely event their are any left over then the full 11 or 16 game members of which at a guess their are 15,000 or so will have first go of the remanin tickets
In the extremely unlikely event their are even more tickets left over then you might have a chance but this is extremely unlikely. and their is no public sale of tickets to the grandfinal. Your best chance is to buy a package which $1000+ per person.

people if u have no GF ticket i would get on that
if worst ncome s to absolute worst and u dont need it
then u could easily sell it for what ya paid
anyway i rang the club
ok, so the last figure they got was still the 10,100 that they said yesterday and they should be finding out later today what the EXACT number is
so so far we KNOW that 10,100 social club members registered for a ticket but it could go up
i also asked how many sept sainters did the reg thingy between 4 and 11pm and they said that they are unsure of and havent got a number
so either ring again just before closing hrs and ask if they have the final numbers or ring tomorrow morn
they should have a deff number by then

I think they just need to be patient, knowing how many have registered is not going to tell us if we have a ticket, seat or whatever, so we all need to just wait. But thanks for the info.
Its out of our hand guys, as long as you have followed instructions and done your bit then you are all going to have to suck it up and wait. Put your energy into working out where you want to sit for the PF.

Thats actually the MCC allocation. Club members being MCC members.
I've been searching for allocations and the closest I find is the broad 16-26k spectrum which has been quoted previously.

I am currently a social club member and registered 3 x adults and 1 child on Wednesday, Now i was wondering in the case my younger bro decided not to attend (which is pretty likely) can i de-register him before the funds are withdrawn? I am also aware of what happens if tickets are not snapped up by social club members etc so i know by withdrawing he's ticket i am helping another person gain access to the grand final

Mate there is no child option for the GF it is classified as concession, which would open up more avenues for you when sellingJustified sainter wrote:Thanks Aussierulesok, yeah the ships been steady all year lets hope we can sail through and win the granny lol. Yeah i am thinking of selling it now might be the best option. I will keep you informed, just be aware though this is a junior ticket!
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!
Guys and gals just a timely reminder that, at the risk of sounding like a wowser, it is actually against the law to sell GF tix unless you are a registered seller.
IF you do find yourself with a surplus ticket(s) be very very careful how you tell people you have them
Needless to say, anyone posting here that they have tickets for sale will have their post removed and be warned.
You would be amazed what lengths the authorities go to check for ads for tix..and I reckon a competing club Fan Forum might just be near the top of the check list
Thanks for understanding...I'm sure you all can make alternative arrangements

I'm pretty sure it's okay to re-sell tickets so long as they're not sold a price above the the face value (i.e. a premium).saint66au wrote:Guys and gals just a timely reminder that, at the risk of sounding like a wowser, it is actually against the law to sell GF tix unless you are a registered seller.

But I understand the concern...if we do make the granny no doubt there'll be new users linking to tix for sale on ebay.

Nothing wrong with selling at Face value - that is NOT scalping and has never been illegal.
But you'd never see and add for this.....most people should be able to flog off un-needed GF tickets at face value to friends in any case, surely???
The admin fee has come out of my credit card this morning.
Phew....that has helped with some of the stress of it all. I was worried there for a moment I may have registered wrong. But seems they have all my correct details.
Now I can sit back and watch who our opponent with be for next Friday night.
