I have absolute faith that when I register my 8 tickets tomorrow we will all get a seat together should we make it.

I won't be taking standing room for our group as it's not practical and we're one in all in as the documentation says.

So we're all in, the Saints will make it, we'll be there and celebrating.

That doesn't help the OP but it helps me to get it out of my system.

I thought there was a certain number of seats set aside for members of the 2 clubs and they are split based on the ratio of their number of members ?

Also does anyone know how many "September Saints" there are?
No...its approx but no less than 23000 now split evenly between the two teams.....hence the 11500 cap

As for standing room...the MCG website says 5000...so assuming 1/2 of those in the public areas..thats 1250 approx for Saints IF every standing room ticket is allocated to the SC allocation of the Clubs..

The Club have not offically said how many standing room tix there are...quite possibly cos they dont know themselves yet

We scraped in for standing room in 97, and it wasn't that flash to be honest.

Very hard to follow the game when the ball dissapears above eye level, and you end up following it on the TV.

That said, given the wait, I'd kick myself if I wasn't there for a once in a lifetime win.

So we're going all options this year. There's a group of 5 so hopefully, we'll get seats.

it depends.
it depends on how many social club members take up the 11500 tickets and if the afl decide to take some back and turn those they take into corporate/lardy darrs creating standing room.
