Too many omens...

* Roosters first wooden spoon since '66
* Kangaroos & Richmond play first draw since '66

What are the other ones that I've heard about but can't remember atm?

North Korea qualified for the World Cup this year.

The last time they competed in the World Cup was 1966.

Shame soccer world cup isn't this year and I could have England and St Kilda charge to glory.

And St George won the flag in 1966 and they're doing ok as well.

Us and the Dragons-history repeated.

Bit suprised to see this on AFL site. Think St George winning in 66 & St Kilda too definitely an omen. The Roosters were the last club to go through the season without winning a game in 66. Next season with a new coach they made the top 4. I live in the area & the Roosters were awful this season. Unlike the Saints who were spectacular . Let's finish it off with a premiership.

No they didn't, they played in the second semi (lost) and the granny (won).
