agree, he is amazing, when i compared him to harves people laughed but i really feel he has many of the same values. so reliable, so driven, so focussed.

He was brilliant. The comparison to Harves is warranted I believe. The way he moved through traffic with such ease today was symbollic of the great man. You can see why Harvey rates him with such high regard.

Remember when i put in my best ever Saint team after 50 years of watching them, i selected Hayes in in front of Brownlow winner Ross Smith. No disrespect to Smith but i consider Hayes has been a top performer right throughout his career and as hard as any on baller we have had while i have been watching them. His brilliant game today was just a normal effort again from him. hard at it from start to finish.

Totally agree, he doesn't get accolades he deserves in the wider footy community. He is elite. Sublime foot skills, some of those passes went like bullets. Low, hard and deadly accurate.

Lenny was an absolute gun today. Some of his sidestep maneuvers were Harvey like, and his kicking was first rate. Him and Roo definitely led form the front. today.
