We have been flag favourites for some time now, and as a consequence we are being "hunted"....There are some supporters who dislike the tag of "favourites", who feel better being the "hunters/underdogs".
To those supporters I say..PLEASE don't be afraid of being favourite to win. (it reflects our success!) EMBRACE the status of being well backed.
The big, successful clubs have learned to embrace the perceived pressure of being the "hunted"
I'm personally sick of being everyones favourite "second team" and being the "sentimental favourites" HELL I want a piece of being universally HATED/ENVIED because of our success!!!!
Someone else here wrote a piece about a "threat to our comfort zone" in our success...well I'm ready to step out of the comfort zone!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, too many of our "supporters" won't bother showing up, prob. because we are playing the Filth and they assume it's too hard to get a good seat (not having a go at you Saint Pat, just a generalisation whenever we play a "Big 4" Melbourne side!).
The crowd will be 50% Pies 25% Saints and 25% neutrals IMO.

It has felt good being the best. I like it that opp fans are saying negative crap to me. I don't want to go back to us being the hunter and the underdog.
I would feel better if the team had maintained its impossibly high standard throughout but I am confident and optimistic that RL and the coaching staff have the players cherry ripe to go mad on Sunday and bury the Pois.

I absolutely agree.
Grown up with Saints being everyone's second team, but that is because we are no threat and the underdog.
Teams and players are hated because they are good and they win. I get annoyed when supporters boo Roo but I know that they would have him in their teams in a flash. Same with Milne. Let them hate us. We will stick together.
If we win the flag, they can all hate us. I will just have another drink.
