Will have more info when we see team sheets and who is on the bench!Unforgiven wrote:I would agree with this one.Saintschampions08 wrote:I'm inclined to think Bally is, but not so sure about Max.saint75 wrote:As there is only one out, it will still mean that Max and Bally are still no certainty. I really want to see both of them in the side.
Hopefully Eddy is out... Dempster could also be in jeopardy of losing his spot to Gears...

Out of him and Dempster ,would rather Ray in the side .eppo67 wrote:Legand 35 are you kidding!!
Ray one of you prefered outs? WTF
Was only last week i was pumping him up.....but to take on the roll of "lead up forward',to which i think he'd be suited.
Just think he's been a bit quiet for a while('cruise mode','comfort zone' )Seem's to go missing for long periods during games and need's to be challenged (woken up a bit) with either a different role or a week on the sidelines.....worked for Dal and Milney and hopefully Bally too.
Nothin worse than having guys in the side that think they are a shoe in for a game every week.
Just my opinion............which means Jack at the end of the day.

Ball must be chomping at the bit to play finals - IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE L BALL HAS PLAYED A FINAL!!! V Melbourne in GT's last game...
Bally and MG have experiance in finals and it will be invaluable on Sunday

Who says he's finished for the year?BaysideSaint wrote:yeah, interesting isn't it. great team, no gwilt (which makes a lot of people happy) but yeah, no gwilt. thanks for your service jimmy, just doesn't seem to be in the best 22 (naturally) just interesting, no jimmy from here on in one feels.
I wouldn't have selected Jimmy against the Pies: when you look at the backline we are up against, I don't reckon Jimmy is needed.
However, he could be pretty useful against the Dogs and perhaps even the Cats.

P.S. I have a sinking feeling that the final 22 will be either
IN: Gardi
OUT: McEvoy
or
IN: Ball, Gardi
OUT: McEvoy, Raph
I hope it isn't the case, but I strongly suspect that we will be watching both Eddy and Dempster running around on the MCG on Sunday.
The idea with the second option would be for Ball to replace Eddy in the middle, Eddy to play as a sort of lead-up forward, and Dempster to play down back where Raph has been.
It is my suspicion that Ross is intending to for us to switch to being much more defensive for the finals than we have been in the home and away. A bit more lock-down and a bit less attacking the ball and ball carrier.
I really hope I'm wrong about this, but I feel it "in my waters".
