Sounds a lot worse than what O'Dea did.
Hardly comparable.
O'Dea, no alcohol, a pre mediated instruction from Jeans to fell Greening behind play, whilst unaware of the hit (he didn't have the gumption to strike him with warning) on a sporting field.
No matter how many times you post this accusation it doesn't make it any truer. Only 2 people for sure know what happened in that incident O'Dea and Greening. I'm assuming you're not either of them so you are either repeating s*** you've been told or are making it up as you go along.
There was absolutely no premeditation by O'Dea. Greening sledged him about his estranged wife as he ran past him after taking his kick, and O'Dea hit him.
Simple as that.
Yes it was a tragedy that Greening was so severely hurt. But for Collingwood to take the 'high moral ground' over it, given what they've done over the decades is an absolute disgrace.
Go look at the reasons Nicky Winmar felt the need to lift his jumper at Victoria Park that day. He wasn't trying to get a suntan. Collingwood more than anyone forced the league's hand on passing racial villification laws. The Filth Army were nothing short of a disgrace when it came to indigenous players.
As for inducting people into Club Halls of Fame, do I need to remind you of some of your more illustrious 'champions?
Tuddenham
Millane
and future inductee Didak.
Maybe it's time you went back to your own forum where you can get sycophantic responses from your fellow supporters, rather than coming on here preaching about our ills and ignoring your own epidemics?
