SC Members GF Ticket Letter
Just popped home for lunch & had a letter from the club re: social club members GF tickets.
A letter from Nettlefold outlining the process & then a step by step guide, complete with a pro-forma to fill in so that you have all the right info in front of you to register should we get through.
The pre-registration days are;
If we win on Sunday- Wednesday September 9 8am-3pm
If we win the Semi the following week- Wednesday September 16 8am-3pm
VIA PHONE OR TICKETMASTER WEB SITE ONLY. (note not Ticketek).
An interesting point is that you cannot choose what type of seat you want... the 'allocation' will be sold from most expensive (Premium- $245) to cheapest (Standard $161). You have to choose best available/best available excluding standing room/mobility impaired. I suppose it's a bit like a concert where they will sell the 'best' seats first.
Obviously you must have enough credit/$$ in you debit card or your order will be cancelled. BE SURE TO CHECK YOU HAVE A VALID CARD!
The admin fee is only $3.50 which is non refundable should be not make the GF.
If you miss the allocated registration time, you miss out.
You can get 8 tickets per transaction maximum.
All SC members will get this letter over the next few days but I thought some may be interested.

Is there a saints logo? a clear address window? does it have a number written on the address?
I have to get my in-laws to extract it from the normal rubbish and forward it on to someone.
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

Register your interest in GF tickets through ticketmasterbobmurray wrote: via phone to who ?
either by www.ticketmaster.com.au or phone 1300 799 753
Ticketmaster is the company that provides the club with software for membership management. If you've ever renewed your membership online or edited your profile/preferences - it's done through ticketmaster.
If successful in gaining GF ticket, it is Ticketek outlet that you get your ticket from. As ticketek do the ticketing for MCG.

I'm glad you spelt it out so succinctly ....
i hope my work computer lets me log on to Ticketmaster or i'm shagged....The IT department has their PC's so protected and the internet so monitored i'm surprised i can turn the thing on to start with.....

Id love to know too AOK...I had exactly the same thoughts..and none of them are goodaussierules0k wrote:My thoughts too Raven.
I'm a bit confused about the standing room bit...
I thought that by becoming a SC member, it guaranteed you a SEAT at the GF (if we made it). If so, we shouldn't need the standing option.
Am I now to understand SC'ers are only guaranteed ENTRY?
I don't think my dear old mum will wanna stand and I'd rather watch it on tele than stand up the back.
Is it possible we wont be allocated enough SEATS to cover all the SC members?
Please explain - someone that knows.
Look at it this way...who are they more likely to want to give the standing room / restricted viewing tix to?? Certainly not the corporates ..certainly not the Club allocation that are being on-sold for $1500 each. Who does that leave??? Us...the hardcore Social Club member fans!!!
I get a realllly bad feeling about this
