I saw it (it was shown on the Perth telecast, we had quite an extensive post-game), but did not tape it. Sorry :(

Sorry saintbrat but I didn't tape the game. We get the 2.10pm Sunday game live & they always show the winning team singing the song.

It was the same song, sung by mostly the same people that has been sung 19 times already this season.

What can be so special about this one?

I know ppl love the team song. However I reckon it's only sung with any gusto maybe half a dozen times a year. Most of the time it's most of the team looking embarassed and hoping they take the cameras off them. I'm always amused when supporters are up in arms when they cut the broadcast before the team song is sung.

to each their own
But I like to see it and get a little idea of the players and where theya re at post game,
interesting to see what is happening in the rooms. etc.

if you don't that's fine- I'm just asking

pretty sure Dees supporters would be spitting chips at not seeing the guys who retired go of the ground etc.

Maybe they should turn up to their games occasionally.

Zero sympathy.

The Fox replay last night had a little bit extra of the after game, but I don't think they had the song either. Pretty pathetic coverage from them this year.

To my eye, from the glimpse I saw, the lads looked relaxed, happy and unusually clean and fresh.

Take from that what you will.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
