Someone mentioned earlier today that the Filth CS are in the Ponsford....

Not sure if that is accurate though.

From what I have read on this site and other forums, I think you are at the Collingwood CS end of the ground, sorry Jiggster. I actually sat near them at the semi final last year and it was fun giving it to them in the last qtr so hopefully we will be in the same position this time around!!

Jiggster, we had seats in M32 for the Collingwood Final last year and whilst before the game we were nervous being adjacent to the Filth CS (in M33) it turned out to be a fantastic experience giving them heaps during the game and watching them slink away in all their toothless, brain-dead, foul-mouthed glory' from 3 quarter time onwards.

It put the finishing touches to what was a brilliant experience at the footy.

Yes..in one of the more bizarre seating plans known to mankind...The AFL surround each CS with bays of fans from the opposing club

I bet Bays M1-M5 at the other end are Pies bays (or at least some of them)

Happened last year too

If it cheers you up there ARE loads of Saints fans around you...and your bay will be exclusively Saints

Hey everyone, while having a squiz the C'wood board to see what the Filth were saying about us I came across a thread by Joffa saying there's been a ticketing mix up and that the Filth cheer squad are actually down at the Punt Rd end instead of their usual Ponsford end...

from pies forum:
"Just confirmed it with some-one at the club ...The AFL have allocated the cheersquad M1 + m2 at the Punt rd end ........apparently St Blunda get first preference for finishing on top .... "

so WE are at the Ponsford end now??

That's a relief.

We got tickets in M32.
I was fearing the worst, having my family spat on by the subhuman gutter dwellers of the Collingwood Cheer Squad.
Mark my words, whilst our cheer squad are a bunch of affable folk, the CCS contain some real nasty types. Stood behind them for a quarter at Docklands two years ago and they are just a disgrace.

i have a very good contact down at Collingwood and it looks like we are in the ponsford and collingwood will be in the southern stand (first time since 03)

Hey Dave!

Look up and salute the big black flag!

We will be in N32 - so the continuity to the Dome will remain - Sainter_Boy and I will look for you jigging up a stom below us!

haha
if you want a laugh before you go to bed tonight read on:

"all i can say is god help the saints cs. IF we can get the unofficial cs to make some noise then its looks out saints ppl.

that is bs though. pies cs has been in ponny since it opened and now all of a sudden out of the blue coz the saints were on top of ladder they get too chose which end they sit.

i thought mcg was the pies HOME ground, the saints have the docklands, and last time i checked (this morning) the game is at the mcg.

if thats the case we do sit up other end, then saints should/have to wear their clash strip, its only fair"

when he says the unofficial cheer squad he means the grog squad that stands up the back. they are a real pest. they stand behind the goals ponsford end no matter what end the real cheer squad sits at.
if we all work together and pay no attention to them we will be the true supporters at the end of the day...

or we can just start sh!t and get security involved. i know whick one i would pick :D

Haha who is the muppet that posted that crap?
So, WE get a home final from finishing top and winning 6 more games than them, but because they play the MCG more than us we should give up all the rights we've earnt over the h&a season? WE are the home team on Sunday and will sit wherever the hell we want!
Oh some people are funny

yep.
and at the end the whole bay of saints fans stood up and waved good bye to the pies fans that were involved in the fight.
if your going to start a fight, at least be the last one to leave the ground if your team is losing, never leave early or you just make things worse.

Just read some of the posts on the Collingwood forum and they're not happy, Jan. Many of them apparently spent up to 2 hours to get tickets in the Ponsford stand (where their cheer squad usually is) and instead they're behind, or near ours, now. They apparently had chance after chance to get tickets in the Southern Stand, but knocked them back to get Ponsford tickets. So they'll be very pissed off and want to take it out on us. I say we don't let them. We need to make some noise, Saints fans!

Awww the poor Pies fans - already lost the rattle out of their prams.

f*** 'em I say.

The more unsettled they are the better.

Couldn't give a stuff if they're upset.

Losers.
