Lance or James??

When your nam is Kent though it looks better with a K than a Cohwhenthesaints! wrote:Oh I see...fair enough then.
I guess only recently having my first child, and flicking through all the baby naming sites, I am used to everything being spelt in a "unique" fashion...
I also went for a K over a C in my son's name

Geary's fighting an uphill battle to get drafted. His best bet is probably to impress at draft camp and try and catch on with a team before the rookie draft. You don't see a lot of sub-180cm players going in the draft and the ones that do usually had a better champs than Geary did.

Do you know whether we genuinely have a shot at recruiting him? Times like this I wish their was a brother/brother rule.....

I've had a look at him (only a few times though) and like vacuous space, I think his best bet is the rookie draft.saint75 wrote:Great article, thanks for sharing.evertonfc wrote:Brother of our Jarryn has been called up to the draft camp.

He can clearly play, would probably make AFL level, but he is a bit like his brother in the dime-a-dozen sense.
I'd quite like him as a rookie, personly. But then I'd like Nicky Winmar, too.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Re: Kallen Geary
Winmar's a very interesting prospect. He's 190cm and moves extremely well. He's a bit raw and didn't exactly tear up the champs either, but I think his physical attributes should see him get picked at some point in the draft. His name has probably got him some extra attention, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. A lot of tall midfield types take a while to hit their peak. I wouldn't have any problem with picking him up. I'm not sure I can see a spot for Kallen Geary.evertonfc wrote:I'd quite like him as a rookie, personly. But then I'd like Nicky Winmar, too.
