Ins and outs?
Could not find a thread for this week, find that unusual?
I think Hayes and Ball in. McEvoy a chance at the expense of King? Eddy or Geary may get another run?
Think Gwilt is out.
Armitage faded again, but good early, and hard.
Dempster seemed to be quiet. Is it just me?
Gramms ball use gets more and more frustrating, question is will others get into position to rceive it as often as he does if he is not there?
Ray had a poor game defensively I thought, looked lost. Over head marking speed and ball use are big pluses though.
Lastly I am still frustrated with our backline match ups, to me Fisher is still playing on a tall and either Dawson or Blake are getting a medium sized lead up. Not sure if I am undervaluing some op. players but on Sun I would have had Dawson on Petrie, Blake on Goldstein and played Fisher on Edwards? Must admit I have not scouted the strengths and form of the NM forwards and I may simply be wrong but many times this year I have felt that Fisher and Blake have played on the wrong guys. Is Fisher injured? Is Blake not good enough to play on the big forwards?

Maybe this year?

Seems reasonable IMO, I'd also like to see Geary come in for a run around the G at the expense perhaps of Armo. I don't think either of them have done much wrong when given the opportunity but IMO Geary adds a bit more spark and polish that has served the team well.sax wrote:In: Ball, Hayes, Hudghton

That's what I'd like to see! Whether it happens or not......?
Graceful, elusive, strong overhead and no Easybeat!

INS: Ball, Hayes, MacGuire (bit left field)
OUTS: Armitage, Gwilt, Riewoldt (resting)
Before I get shouted down for MacGuire, it is just a little something from left field. Nothing to lose but plenty to gain by giving him a shot in a game that has no impact to the rest of the year (he will get his 100th game - father/son). Also, if Roo or Kosi should get cut down, nice to know we may have a replacement to step into the team. Ross likes to keep us on our toes.....
Ball will definitely get a shot after his performance in the 2's last week.
Riewoldt they will err on the side of caution due to his importance to the team for the finals
Hayes has had the week off and will need a run before the finals if his elbow/illness allows.....

Notice how you said 'if' in regards to Goose. Even you are not sure.jonesy wrote:If Goose has a hamstring, and isn't even training, then why to people continously drag his name up for selection?!!! Staggering!
X Clarke must play this weekend, and J Allen must be given a go as the third forward if not a farewell game
I don't know where he is at with his injury and if you bothered to read, you would notice that I was using his selection as a 'smoky' for this week. FFS, some people need to take a chill pill! This thread is to guess the ins and out and is just a bit of fun.....

It wasn't an "if" as in 'not sure'...I was using it as a point. He did a hammy,he's not training, how can he play? The calls for Goose to play now can not be just a "bit of fun". It's everywhere I look...facebook...all the nuffs nuffs on there continously call for him to play....ARGHHHHHHHHHHH....get over Goose!!!!
