Yeah I remember the push for North being a bit strange, but how good was the game.

That last quarter was brilliant, knowing that we were going to the Grand Final unbelievable. The train ride home was pretty memorable too, I remember there being a lot more space on the train after it stopped at Moorabbin.

Unfortunately Winmar walked ut on the club over a pay dispute 3 dyas later - killed team moral and the team spiralled after that.
Older saint I agree with you on this one. I am 33 and I was at this game in 1993 when I was 16. This was sensational, I had been to Vic Park a few times previous and we have been flogged everytime.
This win was sensational and I actually ordered this game years ago on name a game. I remember walking out at the end of the game with my hands in the air yelling out and a can hit me on the back of the head from some collingwood ferals! That was a great day but I hope this year on the last saturday in september is even better! Go saints!

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss
