well that sort of does Noddy's theory then doesn't it. Noddy, you're usually pretty good but in this case i don't know.perfectionist wrote:SportsBet has the Saints favourites:

perhaps if Noddy put one week's income on Collingwood the Magpies would shorten into equal favourite? I dont know, I don't know Noddy.

Anyone who reads the HS regularly knows his opinion changes like the weather.
Blues were top 4 ( start of year)
Blues not quite there yet ( Round 8 or so)
Blues may struggle to hold spot ( Round 17)
Blues top 4 team ( Round 20)
Hawks have been in and out of 8 3 times with Mike and were back , although for only a week also.
Geelong, Stkilda and now Collingwood are going to win the flag.
Mike would be a great Saturday Racing tipster who could print his articles every Monday morning

Watch him tonight on OTC - 'Troubling signs down at Linton Street I would have thought...'
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Lost his Driver's Licence in 2008 for DUI .. now needs to be driven from the MCG to the office of the Herald Sun.

He is not a joke, he is a successful human being
o dui + collingwood flag favourites in his opinion + being driven to the mcg+ supporting melbourne = idiot/moron etc

At least he didn't say that currently The Saints are the worst performing side in the top 4,and that includes the faltering Geelong team....
Thankfully he confined his rant to Collingwood.....
can't wait to see Footy Classified...Hutchy...caro...they might throw a few knives our way as well...I wonder if Grant has jumped off the wagon....
I heard he ended up with tinnitus when the bubble burst...he was standing right next to it......

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

I don't care really if all the commentators think Collingwood will win it means the monkey is off our backs would rather no be favourite we seem to do better that way.WinnersOnly wrote:Does that guy never learn as he definitely cant remain impartial when it comes to his team - Collingwood (filth). More humble pie, Mike? Our team will happily oblige.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE???Saintmania wrote:Can someone tell me what Collingwood have done since round nine that makes them a better team than us? Beat Bulldogs (we did that twice and by a lot more than one point) and Adelaide (we did that as well) from what I can see. Yes, we lost two games we shouldn't have and they lost one but c'mon, anyone who tries to argue that a team that has won four less games than the other is a better team is a little off in my book. Collingwood has had a lot to play for for all 21 rounds so far, we have not. That is a major statistic that people hailing the great 'pies should really consider.
Just look at who they've beaten:
Fremantle (MCG)
West Coast
Sydney (x2 with one at MCG)
Essendon (with half their team out)
Carlton (in an incredibly bad game)
Melbourne
Brisbane (at the MCG)
Port Adelaide (MCG)
Richmond
Looking forward to 2010 - I'm gonna Lovett!

Essendon had more outs against St. Kilda & had just come off a 69 point win against Carlton. As for Carlton, they haven't lost a game since.Saintmania wrote:Essendon (with half their team out)

You also missed Adelaide in Adelaide in your post.
I've never seen a group of supporters be so insecure about being flag favorites. I guess that is par for the course when you have won 1 flag since 1897...

So let's get to the fact of the matter.
The Murdoch Media Group is travelling so poorly with newspapers that it is flagging charging for to access its web site.
And that will happen because Rupert has continued to rack up the debt buying newspapers globally at precisely the wrong time.
And Murdoch has lost his political muscle with his beloved Republicans and Liberals out of office and likely to be out of Office for a very long time.
So, how do you sell these trash papers?
I admit there is one glaring inconsistency in reasoning that devoting your newspaper space to Collingwood, Collingwood and more Collingwood (and bashings, bashings and more bashings - and I have not seen other than people walking around the CBD as normal when leaving the footy in recent weeks and driving back thru the CBD) in the expectation that sales will rise and that is that most Collingwood supporters can not read!
They probably buy the paper because of the drawings of magpies and the pictures of Collingwood players!!
We played them in the major round last year.
I think we are a bit better structured this year with 2 genuine ruckmen and Kosi forward to lend support to Riewoldt.
Where have Collingwood improved by the 10 goals we beat them by last year in September?
Time will tell, but I do not think they have.
Geelong are still the team to beat, as the Round 14 contest showed.
That was the game of the year to date by a very, very wide margin.

How can anyone have an opinion if they have lost their drivers licence. The guy is an obvious fool if he thinks a side who has lost one game in their last ten as favourites. It is obvious that a side who has lost their last 2 should be favourites. And it really matters what his opinion is anyway.BaysideSaint wrote:Noddy, the Anointed.evertonfc wrote:I disagree with Sheahan here.
