Scan for precautionary purposes but he would be very surprised if any problems, expects to play against Dees this Sunday

The way he finished off the game says it all. Scans are precautionary and will probably get a weeks rest.
hayes played out the whole game a couple of years ago when he did his acl. the problem with tough, dedicated players is that you can't use this stuff as a guide.

Thats true but the difference here is that Roo is saying the knee feels good today...Lenny played out the game but would have pulled up sore once he cooled down..
Can't even bear to contemplate there being any likeness here

Nick himself said there was no swelling this morning. Lenny knew something wasn't right the next day as his leg had swollen up and he couldn't move it. Nick doesn't even have a limp according to himself and the parasites trailing him around today.
Mission is renowned for getting everything scanned.
When he was at the Swans their Specialist scanning bill was in excess of $200,000 a year. Roos stated it was instrumental in preventing injuries and Mission was a master a giving players a rest at just the right time before the injury surfaced.
MATT MAGUIRE WILL NOT PLAY NEXT WEEK OR ANYTIME THIS SEASON!!
He hasnt played VFL footy for near on a month..AFL for 18 months...yet some want to bring him in for what should be as close as injury will allow to a dress rehearsal side for Finals Week 1.
Might get a run for the Zebras this week if he comes up
There will probably be quite a bit of speculation due to his history of knee issues and how vital he is to our team but the way he ran out the last quarter on Sunday suggests that it wasn't anything major. Fingers crossed that it isn't one of those innocuous incidents that turns out to be something more serious. I'm not quite sure how the club expects to fool everyone by suggesting that it was a corkie though...
I was hoping the club had sent him for correction of his kicking action.
Until he is taught to kick for goal without throwing his weight backwards he will remain a pot luck shot at goal.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

He's played 99 games for St Kilda.
Think about forward planning, people. 100 games is the threshold for father-son.
Having said that, McEvoy helps us more re: premiership and Riewoldt does not react well to weeks off.
laughable old school logic re goose.

On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
