he had his back to the ball and was facing petrie.
...well after he finally turned around lol
Plenty of defenders face away from the play to stop a forward leading..the problem was that Petrie didnt lead it was bombed long to him..and Zac was caught in no-mans-land
Nope, worst mistake i have seen, had no idea when the ball was coming in, even when he saw Petrie moving it took him a few seconds to work out what was happening...
At this stage he needs to be dropped for next week. We have too many better players to come in. As far as Defenders go I would prefer to see Matt Maguire given a go against Melbourne. He would need to play blind-folded to put in a worse game than Zac had today.

Matt Maguire isnt playing again this year. Did anyone else who has seen the movie The Club think zac looked like Jiohn Howard from that movie when Petrie marked the ball today when Zac wasnt looking.

Its too late to drop him, he is part of the back 6 for the finals, get behind him instead.
Nah. Bugger him. He - along with Milne, Baker, Dal Santo and too many other passengers - can bloody well cop a spray for being lazy and sloppy and he like the others can bloody well pull their fingers out and do a shitload better next week.
Business end now. No f**cking about.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Max is gone.
There is only one thing worse than a player who plays poorly and that is a player who breaks down.
He does NOTHING, he does not get the ball, he does not prevent his opponent getting the ball, he no longer plays the role he was selected to do and disrupts team matchups and balance.
Oh did I mention he stuffs up interchange rotations as well.
The simple fact is when Max plays he is somewhere between a 10% and 20% chance of breaking down.
That is too high a risk to take into a Preliminary or Grand Final.
There are no second chances to reverse those results.
Love you Max, but sorry you are too big a risk.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
