Dal

Post: # 801363Post henno »

is it time for him to get dropped again? he was on jobe for most of the game last week, yet bally got wrongly maligened for that match up.

today he continually zoned off players, and really lacks defensive pressure. he also failed to dish it off a number of times, trying to take multiple players on at once. perhaps needs a spell in the ressies?

also seeing as 8 goals just isnt good enough, is it time for tom lynch to make his debut? just for the game against melbourne would be good imo, nothing to lose from it, and he may be that other avenue to goal that we need, seeing as continually bomb it long to roo and kosi, instead of 1 out on the lead.

Dal and Milney we're the invisible men today, poor efforts, mind you they had a few mates, very, very disappointed.

Probably unwise to start this dropping of players to the reserves at this time of the year.

Lynch might be needed if Roo doesnt come up nect week.

Dal needs a rev up but dropping him isnt the answer so close to finals.
We were missing several in and under players at the contest today.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Despite what Skyhooks sang EGO can be a dirty word. Dal looks to have gotten the EGO back of late. Time for him to listen to GT and leave it in his locker when he comes out to play.

I wouldnt read too much into that. Milne is the type of player who only kicks goals when his side his 40 points up.

Dal has been down on form the last two weeks, but lets face facts, he has been probably our best and most consistent player this year. Dont base his season on the last 2 games, he has been fantastic all year. He is vital to our structure.

Yeah Dal had a bad day. It just proves though that we need him playing well and delivering the ball to our forwards to win. Hopefully the coaches can get him right for the finals. He's a weapon and we need to find ways of getting the best out if him.

Could it be that without Hayes there is more focus on shutting down Dal.
Dal feeds a lot off Hayes' creativity.

Dal has gone missing a 100 times while Lenny is there. No excuse.

And just about everyone else. And not only his creativity either.

How about some credit for the opposition. No wonder Scott took the Roos over the Tigers. You cannot expect any of our players with possibly the exception of Rooey to be fantastic every week. Dal at his best is simply worth it to carry him at his worst.

Exactly. Has anyone been watching Dal in the centre square drills before the game? He is never the tap rover always the second receiver. Ross is coaching this to be his role? He needs someone like Lenny getting the ball out to him or for the coaches to start letting him practice for the contested ball.
