You havent had a bad year, but really gets shown up one on one against some players. It is just our whole defensive effort has been great, not his one on one stuff

That Easy mark the Petrie took when he wasnt even watching the ball was appalling and someone that shouldnt be in the team come finals

Bring back Max, get that hamstring ready

Had a shocker. Needs to re-focus.

Must remember to play his man with greater intent.

Is a big part of our team but just needs to give more than that.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

I think we need Max back for the bigger type forwards. The support was not adequate due to poorer upfield pressure.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Apart from the first quarter Norh hardly had it in their forward 50, i think at one stage we had 20 more inside 50's yet still lost..

North were winning in the first qtr and we dried them up after that but they got a goal every second time they went in where we only socred a goal every 6

Dawson was caught napping one to many times today.
He looked like he was going to burst into tears at one point.

I am not going to come down hard on the kid but gees we can't afford to be having those kind of problems in September.

Many have said it, now I agree. He's been a front runner when our defence worked well.

Today he was lazy and , frankly, inept.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Rabbit in spotlight.

Loose defence, lack of perceived support as well as perceived pressure = panic.

Finally you see it, when our team isnt there to help him he is lost, so many times when players kicked the goal on him our team had to keep his head up...

i was never on it, so technically i havent, i thought he had played well with help, but we cannot rely on him to be our number 1 full back, 1 on 1

Only one thing to say here, watch the ball, not you man...turning your back on the play is most dangerous when it is already on the way in.

One to forget from Dawson today...a shocker.

Had one massive error for the day (back turned away from play, Petrie marks and goals.)

How was the rest of his day?

*1 Clanger

* 8 disposals (100% efficiency - 2 k/6hb)

* 38 champion data points (averages 62)

How many did he get kicked on him?

Time for Zac to reset his goals, appeared happy and driven to get regular games, then played his GF against the Hawks, been poor since...now needs to refocus. Needs to find that hunger and confidence, start dishing out bumps and backing himself.

Aaron Edwards first goal was when Dawson was running off and left a man unmarked in fwd 50

Drew Petrie took the hanger in the last qtr to seal it, plus the turned back one...

He gave away a free to their resting ruckmen so i can count at least 4 of their 10 but would have had a lot more...

I dont know how you can say he had 100% efficiency with his handballs, there were 2 that landed in between 2 handballs that landed in between 2 saints players and both nearly got turned over

Definition of effective disposal, within 5 metres of a player or marked or taken by opposition player

Probably the worst piece of defence I've seen in many years.

What';s happened with him???? I've become a huge fan of his. But the last two games have been ........... Hopeless!

Well, maybe I've still got a shred of hope. But I'm shocked!

Almost looked like he lost the ball in the sun when Petrie took that mark

When North WERE pumping the ball in at will early in the game I thought he was OK. Some nice spoils and looked after Petrie OK

The problem today was not the defenders

Defence is about TEAM not individuals. The forward pressure at times today across CHF was abysmal. Whenany team can walk it out across half back you are in trouble.

As we saw at times when it was good we caused turnovers but couldn't convert

...well after he finally turned around lol

Plenty of defenders face away from the play to stop a forward leading..the problem was that Petrie didnt lead it was bombed long to him..and Zac was caught in no-mans-land
