Leigh Fishers career at St Kilda is surely over at seasons end..had no impact today

Port kick another.

Lead by 10, Sandy's finals hopes are in a bit of trouble.

I flicked over to FoxSport1 when Port were 23 up, close to full time.

Missed the final score.

If Collingwood won/wins today, it's season over for Sandy.

If not, there is a slight glimmer of hope, although Sandy play Nth Ballarat next week.

Pretty much over one would think.

Some Thoughts:

Firstly I am mainly speaking in light of players being called upon for our finals campaign.

Geary looked very good. Probably BOG. Kicked 3 goals early in the game and could have finished wit halfa dozen if he had kept kicking straight. that he had so many shotes on goal is testimony to his hard running.Played intelligently and finished off generally quite well. Was a cut above most players. will be a handy back up in the finals if called upon.

Ball. Solid I think is the best word to describe his game. Won lots of ball....but generally did not HURT the opposition with it. However his disposal was not poor...just not creative and damaging in general. however it was better than it has been of late. His work rate was good and far higher than what we saw against the Dons.

Eddy. Eddy played a very good game. Not as good as Geary, but certainly showed that he is improving. His ball use was about the best I can recall seeing from him.

Steven
played quite well. However his inexperience brought him undone at times with some bad decision making. However he still radiates class and would seem destined to become a senior player.,,,,but we have better options for this years finals.

Lynch. Did not demand a finals berth with his game. But showed that he could become a player.

Ben. Steady today. however did not hold his marks today and was below his form displayed in the Hawks game.

Max. May well have done his hammy. Played little today.

sRr, fair call generally, but Bally would have been credited with 3, possibly 4 goal assists today.

I thought he was very creative, and still got in and under.

I strongly disagree with this comment.
