Yes it is. All Ess home games are ticketed.

And what's more, you can now get a lovely ticket right on the wing, which those of us who booked weeks ago could not. We just love our ticketmaster!!!

You're joking. I know seats are released in blocks, but when I bought my seats weeks ago I was actually told that level 1 was sold out, and that no more seats were available to be released.
Those prepared to get in early should have the privilege of choosing where to sit. At the moment its a gamble: can I afford to wait and hope I can get better seats later, or do I take what's on offer now in case nothing better or nothing at all is available later?

When those bastards at Ticketmaster show "best available" on their website they mean "best available to you".

They don't mean "best not already sold".

When they appear unsuccessful at selling tickets that are "best available to people other than you", they then make them "best available to you if you want to buy another ticket as well". :?

In other words they don't care.

It is an Essendon home game.

Your 11 game member card only gives you access to St Kilda home games.

17 game members still have to buy a ticket either at the ground (Risky as it may sell out, and left with standing room), or go through ticketmaster and buy a ticket in advance.
Make sure you click AFL/Club members so you get the ticket for only a nominal cost.

13 61 00. You will get the computer run around no matter what, unless you have someone who speaks Swahili in the household. This usually gets you straight through.

Normally means the allocation has sold out overnight because they haven't released enough to last past "work" time.

Try again not long after 9 tomorrow and you'll probably find that conveniently there will be more available.

It's ridiculous.
