Can Dons Spoil Perfect Season?
With Port Adelaide losing the door is now open once again for Essendon. Sure we can beat them ..... BUT if we choose to rest another half a dozen stars this week - maybe that might be enough for them to sneak in a win? And won't they have Lloyd back? And maybe more incentive as they were last team to win 20 in a row? Now we've come this far I want us to win all.

Milney's aiming for them not too
http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/ ... 42,00.htmlREJUVENATED St Kilda forward Stephen Milne said the club's amazing winning streak of 19 games has not distracted the Saints from the task at hand. Milne kicked three goals in the Saints' 25-point win against Hawthorn on Saturday, but insisted the road ahead in the players' minds goes no further than Sunday's clash against Essendon.
"It is good to get to the club every week with a smile, knowing that everyone is playing their role for the team," Milne said.

Lloyd? Lloyd? You mean the man Max Hudghton takes to school every time they play?

Round 8 is a long time ago. The Bummers are the ones who have become complacent and lazy. Their losses in the last month have been appalling, heartless efforts.
Remember too, they had a 9-day break to our 6.
You might as well post the match report from the previous game against them as an indicator of this week's match.

They are tired and sore and devoid of a forward of any note and, frankly, gawn.
They'll try to run. We'll wear them down.
Saints by ten goals.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

But the last time we played the bummers, they were at their peak.
Now they are in a trough, a deep, deep trough. Some unkind types even suggested called it a pyss trough.

With each passing week it is looking more and more likely that it will be the perfect season....Geelong the undefeated, Bulldogs, Swans in Sydney, Hawthorn undermanned.....Essendon have next to chance, will be a massive upset if the Bummers beat us...our only testing games will be finals though I can't see us losing then either. Touch wood and GO SAINTS!!!!!

No Lloyd, no Lucas, no Winderlich, and a McVeigh that doesn't seem to know if he wants to play or not...SaintWodonga wrote:No chance.. I'll be there!
Not that any side should be taken lightly, I'm not thinking they are much of a threat to be honest.
