The holding the ball Rule is the most confusing, inconsistantly umpired rule in the AFL! Can someone explain the it to me? Better still, can someone please explain it to the umpires!!!!!

its quite simple, If the ball was in the hands of a St Kilda player, it is holding the ball or incorrect disposal, if it is the hands of a Hawthon player then it is a ball up.

Good coaching by ross i think. Hold it up whey they have the wind kick long when we have it pretty basic but if these young guys can follow the instructions then anything can happen
