A stupid woman rang up MMM after the Cats game and complained about the exact same thing. Fair Dinkum, Goose would not have been up to that game and Raph wasn't that bad!! Just seems people have their favourites and it doesn't matter whether they can help the team or not, they should be playing regardless.

I listened to those comments. I think you will find he was a Collingwood supporter and his girlfriend was the Saints supporter. The supporters you are referring to usually are not supporters of that club, they just claim to be. It is very easy to ring through to a radio station and claim that you are a Hawks supporter when in actual fact you barrack for the Saints.

Don't let it bother you so much. I think this is absolutely FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!! Never seen or heard such a commotion all over 5 players missing a game of football! They never worried about it in '05 and '06 where we actually lucky to field a full team on any given week!!!! LOL

Let the Hawks think they stand a chance and may still make the finals. It will make it all the more enjoyable when our team cuts them off at the knees on Saturday afternoon!

On a side note, how hilarious is it that they have to follow twitter pages to get the team ins and outs. Hate to point it out to him, but if he was following the Saints facebook site, he would have seen the news about Matty an hour earlier..........
