Just listening to SEN and it just shows you how badly a persons answer taken out of context can make a story.

on the SEN upate they have said the 5 outs of the saints and said this is after ross lyon said "what geelong do is no of concern to us, it's a bit dis-respectful as the season is very even and if your 1% off....."

The question ross was asked was "will you rest your players like geelong are"

so he answered it by saying that what geelong does didn't influence us. that on the idea of RESTING players then that is disrespectful. At no time does he say they would not rest INJURED players.

Talk about pulling up a quote out of context and twisting it... journalism at it's worst.....

btw I think this shows how many players are sore at this time of the year and how many are forced to play at less then 100% because finals spots are on the line. They have niggles so are not playing... thats the real story....

My thoughts exactly when I heard it. This game is going to be heavily scrutinised right up until the bounce of the ball. I believe that the our 5 outs this week is more newsworthy than the world economic crisis. I reckon if you look up, the sky would be falling.....

Honestly, 5 outs but look at the remainder of the team and who is to come in. Still a far better side than the Port team that beat the hawks last week!

hence his answer.
