Something tells me we should care more in 7 weeks. If these guys need a rest who gives a dam about this weeks game.Saint Bev wrote:Holy crap, so do we really care if we don't win this week? I do

happy with the side. . . taking a zero risk policy is best for everyone.
if we lose we lose . . .no big deal . . . we are in the position to rest players next 3 weeks and i dare say we will be rotating players in and out for the next few weeks now.
as for goddard and hayes (everyone has niggles this time of year) no biggy . .

Its clearly all about player management from now until the finals....I'd expect big changes again next week to keep the players fresh for septemberplugger66 wrote:Something tells me we should care more in 7 weeks. The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
If you are not engaging AI actively and aggressively, you are doing it wrong.
You are not going to lose your job to AI.
You are going lose your job to somebody who uses AI.
Your company is not going to go out of business because of AI.
Your company is going to go out of business because another company used AI.

i am all in favour of giving major players(goddard, hayes, riewoldt, montagna)
a rest before the finals we are already certain to finish top 2
So give other players ago to see if they are up to it if they are needed for the finals!

Personally I'm excited by this. Gives the team a bit of a freshen up and certainly gives us less to lose this weekend.
Can see the lineup looking somewhat like so:
FB: S.Dempster - M.Hudghton - J.Blake
HB: S.Fisher - Z.Dawson - R.Clarke
C: J.Gram - L.Ball - F.Ray
HF: J.Gwilt - J.Koschitzke - A.Schneider
FF: S.Milne - M.Gardiner - A.McQualter
R: S.King - C.Jones - N.Dal Santo
I/C: B.McEvoy - J.Geary - R.Eddy - J.Steven
That can still be a winning side.
