You must be referring to the "Believing in Ross" thread - a reasonable and logical thread before you made your grand entrance.

This thread is nothing more than bait for a catfight... why can't you keep on topic rodg?

Comeback of the year!!

That's funny.

Come to think of it...

If that little thing that won't flush becomes aggressive, would it then be known as a "violent" piece of stool?

Boom Boom.

Officially, on record, it would be the biggest failure ever in the history of the sport.

That's not an opinion, that's a fact.

You have got to be sh1tt1ng me !!!

Reasonable and logical !! You bowl in here and label everyone cretins - and yes before your childish little games of distraction, the nature and tone implied that everyone on here was a cretin, and then you oh so innocently ask why it's descended into a catfight :?:
You sanctimonious, shyte-stirring troll. How dare you call me a cretin!

I really wonder about your sad little life if you are able to create a negative OUT OF 17-0 !!!!!!
I am sure that your parents collected you from kinder, otherwise how could they have attached the electrodes to your genitals that they obviously used in your nightly torture sessions - because nothing else explains the warped sh1tstorm that passes for your mind............

If we lose this year many on here will rationalise it about the individuals.

Not how good they were to get us here today but to fail from the position they have created.

LOL.

Is this a song? Maybe a rap?
Sssh its nice to have Rodger back .... he's good sport, the type that cannot cope with success, where a win is worse than a loss, and a victory will lead to failure later!

Perfectly legitimate question.

I'll put it this way:

I have no problem throwing one of those "Streak" DVD's into the system and watching it. I particularly love the Brisbane win.

However, if we do not win the flag this year, I doubt very much that I'd be able to throw in the Geelong game from this year and re-watching that knowing how the season turned out.

The whole year will be stricken from memory as much as is humanly possible. The mere mention of '18 straight' or '22 straight' will just lead me to memories of how it all ended.

As the 2004 H&A season fizzled out the way it did, it lowered expectations to an extent. That has not happened as yet this year and it's not looking likely to either so expectations now are naturally a lot higher than then.

Well said...theres very little similarity between 04 and this year. Back then it was all new, all a bit of a bonus really. Getting within a toenail (Guerra's) of a GF was amazing. Much as the PF was dissapointing, you had a feeling we were at the beginning of a special era for the Club. Not so this year. We are right at the peak of our powers and cherry ripe to win the Cup.

The difference between you asking the question and Rodger tho OLB, is that you dont come on here once a fortnight, drop a few paragraphs of wisdom on how we arent really as good as everyone says we are, call anyone who thinks otherwise a cretin, then dissapear into the night

I know!

A perfectly reasonable question - and in 3 pages I've only about 3 or 4 answer it and stay on topic!

Oh well, that's Saintsational for you.

if the saints made it to the grand final then lost it it (god forbid) would then depend on why they lost the game as to depending on whether it was still a successful year.

if they turned up and just expected to win, did not try etc. then i would be bitterly dissapointed. if all of a sudden they had major injuries, (god forbid) what can you do. if the other team was just better on the day then how would you all feel.

hard to say i suppose!!! :?:

what about that?

excellent question saintly.

My honest answer is if we make the Grand Final, I have confidence that this team will NOT let it get to their head. I am sure they will give a good account of themselves and play as best as they could.

If that happens, I can't honestly say I'd be truly disappointed. If it comes down to us just being beaten by a better time on the day, I can say that it was still a good year - a great year in fact - but I wouldn't be too upset if that were the case.

Can't wait for thie finals - that will be the biggest test for this team. Can't wait to see how we handle finals pressure.
