He has to be the best player in the competition this year. Better than Ablett, Judd or Selwood. I believe he will be the AA captain.

Thoughts?

Definitely.

AA CHF without a doubt.

Will be skipper or at the least VC - its a toss up with him and Brown, but Roo would get it by my reckoning.

Absolutely. He fills every position in my top 10. How was the smother just outside the Dogs forward 50, then back to kick a goal at the other end about 20 seconds later...just amazing.

He went off for a spell in the 3rd quarter and suddenly our forward line looked very very ordinary without him or Kosi.

I used to think that he couldnt handle being the captain as it stopped him from concentrating on his own game. How wrong was I. He is a fantastic leader. His run, chase, pressure, man he left his man for dead on the lead in the last quarter. All after being punched, retarded and basically raped every time he went for a mark. The man is a champion's champion, a great leader, and a great bloke. As they said on mmm he gives his teammates confidence and they grow as well.

By far the MVP in the league, best player we've got and probably in the league.

Best captain, best key forward.

He will make AA at CHF but the captaincy will probably go to Judd, because his leadership has sent them to such dizzying highs in the past two years

Clearly the best player going around.

If he doesn't win Charlie will just show that the umps only see mids.

Yea lets see him hold the cup up that would make me a happy happy man.

Huge tank on the man, they have no answer for him other than tag team him and he just runs their ass's off.

Has a sign on his back says follow me at your own peril.

8-)

You know the thing is...I reckon he's underrated.

Look at the votes here and on BF, no where near leading it...

We just take it for granted.

He's a freak, and will go down as one of our best ever players. Right up there with Lockett, Harvey, Stewart and Baldock.

Lol, take out Roughy and Buddy from the Hawks, or Brown and Bradshaw from the Lions. Most teams forward lines would look pretty weak with their 2 leading goal kickers not on the ground.

Agreed though, when he got it like 70 out, I'm like 'okay pass to Kosi' then you're like...RAGE
