I dont mind if Goose comes in or Jimmy or Lynch are given a run as a more lead up option...

One thing I would NOT like to see however, is Gards named and played as a set forward... This has not and will not work...

Ruckmen are most dangerous when given a license to float forward and pinch hit... Not start and finish there.... Gards is especially good at timing his movements forward (and back for that matter)....

This does not only go for Gards, simply cos he failed playing this role for the eagles in the 06GF... This, imo, should be a rule applied to all ruchmen (Salmon the obvious and only exception)...

For that reason, IF kosi must miss, Id like to see Gwilt or Lynch played as a lead up, with Roo deeper forward... Goose may be doable, but his forward form of late seems to have softened...
