What will the excuse be?
We all know "Ol' fish lips" Mark Thompson will have a ready excuse or 2 as to why they lost the game today, so what will it be?
No Stevie Johnson?
The umpires? (even HE wouldnt whinge about them today)
Our gameplan?
That we were overly aggressive?
I for one am looking foward to his presser
BANG BANG

No doubt it will be Johnson
He would be better served giving credit where it is due

there was a few clear dropping the ball decisions against geeeeelong that we should have been paid, one would have given us a shot about 40 meters out. I just can not understanf how they miss these decisions,Mr Magic wrote:"Umpires killed us'.
We deserved more free kicks for being tackled, because we are Geelong and we don't have to dispose of the footy when we're tackled.
I think they frightened to make those decisions in games like these that may give an important goal away. Same thing happened in the hawthorn geelong game late last year
Thankfully this time they did not win the game for geelong

Have just had a look at the media conference with Mark Thompson. Clearly he thinks that they were dudded by the Umpires. What a joke! I think the free kick count was 22 to 14 in Geelongs favour, 2 of the dodgiest 50M penalties ever that both resulted in goals. Has the dropping the ball when tackled rule goen out of the game - we do not get value for the tackles and pressure applied from umpires. To get a poor deal of the umpires like we did today and still win is a great result. For Geelong to think they were dudded by the umpires just shows how far up themselves they are.
