Good Call Bad Call
Saw this thread on bigfooty and thought it would be a bit of fun.
Just like on Footy Classified. You make a statement and the following person responds Good call or bad call and justifies there response with a sentence or 2 (at most)
they then make a statement of their own
to try to save confusion, quote what you're answering and in the event 2 forumites answer at the same time, can the next in line try to answer both statements.
i'll start
Good call, bad call
There isn't room for all 3 of Dawson, Hudghton and Blake in the team at the same time?

Good call one will have to give way.skeptic wrote:There isn't room for all 3 of Dawson, Hudghton and Blake in the team at the same time?
Robert Harvey retiring was the best thing that happened to the st.kilda midfield?

Bad call, Marcus. Terrible call, disrespecful call.Marcus1232 wrote:Good call one will have to give way.skeptic wrote:There isn't room for all 3 of Dawson, Hudghton and Blake in the team at the same time?

Who's to say the penny wouldn't have dropped had our greatest player still been here.
The AFL need to clarify the rushed behind rule for everyone instead of players running around having no clear idea what they can and can't do.
This is supposed to be a professional sport FFS.

The Saints must get close or win this week so their confidence isnt destroyed com finals time.

Re: Good Call Bad Call
I dont think it matters either just wanted to hear what somebody else had to say on it :p
Good call fantastic call its a good rule but it was rushed into fast wasnt properly thought through
Kosi is as important to the side as Nick Riewoldt

Well, not that bad a call because a fit and firing Kosi is vital to our chances of September success but every player plays second fiddle to Riewoldt in terms of importance to the side IMO.
Not winning a flag this year will hurt more than any other year.

Plugger
Good call... a win gives us the incentive, a close loss tells them we're here
James Gwilt is our best option for HFF?

Good call, gives our midfield choices, eases the pressure of Roo and gives our small forwards chancesMarcus1232 wrote: Kosi is as important to the side as Nick Riewoldt

Good call at the moment he is our best option.skeptic wrote:James Gwilt is our best option for HFF?
Beating Geelong will hurt them more than if they beat us
Good call, rocksolid. Emphatic call, precise call.rocksolid wrote:Not winning a flag this year will hurt more than any other year.
BAD Call
Still getting over 97
Winning the flag is going to heal all wounds
A flag and everything will have been worth it. They say you can't truly appreciate the good until you've experienced the bad.
Robert Harvey, deep down inside, was just as happy St Kilda beat Carlton as we all were.

Good Call....He is a Saints man through and through
Leigh Montagna will be St Kilda highest vote getter in the 2009 Brownlow Medal

Bad call. Still reckon we're the under dogs. Would be a good call if no cats in the comp. Cats are still most ppl's pick for the GF o/s of stKildal ppl.
Ross Lyon should stop playing cloak and daggers with training and injuries to players. It's hurting the stkilda brand and serves no real purpose.
Good call or bad call?

We haven't been beaten, on top of the ladder, one could say we are unbeatable
Jarryn Geary to be virtually unstoppable for the remaining 10 rounds and win the NAB rising star?

Bad call. Nobody deserved a premiership like Robert Harvey. It is a blight on this football club that we couldn't bring him one.#1GILL wrote:Lenny and Max deserve a premiership as much as Harvey Did
Call: Sam Fisher is an excellent defender but he could be absolutely outstanding if he was able to use his left foot.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.
Bad call, but not a shocking one...I think it would make little difference either way.evertonfc wrote:Bad call. Nobody deserved a premiership like Robert Harvey. Call: St Kilda has little to no chance of winning the flag this yr if they lose this week by 60+
Bad call. Presumptuous call. Lazy call. You wouldn't say the same of Geelong if they lost by 60+.#1GILL wrote:Call: St Kilda has little to no chance of winning the flag this yr if they lose this week by 60+
It was impossible to answer the Herald Sun's survey question 'who is the toughest player in the AFL' as Luke Ball was not listed as an option.
